Pete was honest with me about the things I would like about my new car, and about the things I might not like because of the car I'm leaving behind. After one visit to the Hadley office, having had a very friendly and comfortable interaction with one of the sales guys, Gus Erskine, my husband told me that he would love to do business with Subaru. We had not had the best experiences with Country Nissan, feeling that their customer service frequently lacked the "customer-first" mentality. We often felt pressured and taken advantage of when we were doing business with Nissan. We had quite the opposite experience doing business with Subaru. My husband introduced me to Gus, and we talked comfortably about what we would be looking for in a vehicle. Gus was polite, responsive and impressively able to walk that fine line between maintaining contact with us throughout our search for the right vehicle without any pressure or manipulation. Gus was patient, knowledgeable, respectful and personable. Once we decided on a vehicle, the purchase was a smooth transaction in which my husband and I felt comfortable with the numbers and informed of the nuts and bolts of both the financing and the features of the vehicle we were buying. He and his sales manager put together a deal for us that gave us a great price on a new Outback and a great trade-in price on our car. They stayed late to finish all of the paper work, it was one of the easiest car buying experiences we ever had, No all day at the dealer going back and forth on price.
