I needed to trade my big SUV in for a vechile that got better gas milage and still had enought room to carey all my things and kids daily. I meet with Gus first, He showed me the forster and outback. I was still not sure that the Subura was going to be big enought. I took both cars out for a ride. Returned several time to test driving both cars still not sure witch one was right for me. When Gus was not there I meetr with John very freindly took right over for Gus helping me out test driving each vechile and going over the pro and cons that would help me make the right discission. When I finaly made up my mind booth Gus and John were out, that when I meet Larry He jump in and help close the deal. I had to find an all-wheel drive vehicle for my son and I had only a week to do so. I test drove the car and began negotiations over the final price which included a trade in. I was very happy with the final figure. To say that Larry was attentive, is an understatement. He even called me from the hospital one night, where he was waiting for a family member to get medical assistance! He was, also, extremely helpful in helping with arrangements to get the car to my son who works in Vermont as I was heading back to Florida. I would recommend Larry Flakes and the rest of the crew at Steve Lewis Subaru to anyone who wants a stress-free experience buying a new or used car. More

My wife and I had planned a used car try out day with several dealerships and cars on the list for test drives. I had scheduled a time with Holly on line. She was very responsive to my questions about one of the used cars on the lot. The car we were going to try out here had one very paticular feature that I was interested in trying( a CVT transmission), but it actually had more mileage on it than I was really interested in purchasing a car with(46K miles). Larry had showcased the vehicle very well, but I had to inform him that we really were interested in something with less mileage on it, and had several other dealerships to visit and other vehicles to try. Within the next few minutes, Larry had worked through to the root of what we were looking for, and what we were expecting to pay, and had us trying a brand new Subaru, with a CVT transmission, with AWD and BETTER gas mileage than any of the cars I had on my list to test drive that day. Though the payment terms were longer than the used car concept I had planned, being a NEW car...rates were better, warranties were better, expected service life for us was better, and the monthly payment was in the same ballpark. Other than the use of "Edmonds" for used car trade in pricing, it was a very satisfying experience. Myron did a great job explaining loan terms and warranty information, and we ended up ordering a car that day to pick up the following weekend. Then, the next day, we had realized that the base model car we had ordered was missing another key feature that we required...cruise control. This was our oversight, as we had not specified this, but had thought that we had seen it on the similar model we were shown before we ordered(tuned out to be the stereo controls on the steering wheel, not the cruise control). Once again, the staff was terrific in ironing out this issue. The dealership "upgraded" us from a base to a premium at a great discount for us, still keeping us in our budget. Thank you to all involved. If there service department is as good as the sale team here(which I expect...we were personally introduced to them at the time of vehicle pickup, and walked through there process!), we will definitely be back here for future purchases, and giving recomendations to friends. This dealership wants your business and so far is treating me right. They do not play dirty tricks on other dealers which I would have found distasteful, another dealer, after the fact offered me $20 treating me right.
