Making a decision to trust a business and put yourself in their care when dealing with a large purchase like a new vehicle is not trivial. In my case, I had deliberated over beginning the search for a new car for a few years. I had been loyal to one manufacturer for numerous decades. It had become clear that the brand I had been comfortable with and motivated about for the past 10 vehicles no longer had a product I felt met my needs. After my trusty car past the 90,000 mile mark, I decided to start looking in ernest for my next car. Our daughter had recently decided on a Subaru and had a great experience at Steve Lewis and encouraged me to stop in and check them it out. I was fortunate to have been introduced to Peter Lustenberger as he was the Sales Consultant who worked with my daughter and son-in-law. From the first communication by e-mail, Peter was patient and helped me feel I was calling all the shots, not being rushed, just reassuring. He was always informing and assiting me in dealing with all the questions large and small I had about a car that would fit me. Fast forward to today and I am pleased to say I am now the proud owner of a beautiful Subaru 2013 Forester. I was quite pleased and surprised that yesterday when I went in to pick up my car Peter and a number of other folks at Steve Lewis were extremely generous with their time and went over in depth any and all things about the paperwork, service schedule, vehicle layout and actually assisted in setting up some of the Bluetooth features on the audio unit. I look forward to a long relationship with my new car and with the good folks at Steve Lewis. More

My wife and I recently bought a 2012 Impreza here. We originally dealt with Peter L. who was really friendly and informative. I knew exactly what I wanted in a car, I just had to find the right dealership. After testing out different makes and models, I decided the Subaru Legacy was the best choice. Though I live 5 minutes from a Subaru deal, I chose Steve Lewis (30 minutes away)for several reasons: 1. The dealership was recommended by two friends (one who has his car serviced there and the other owns a used car dealership.) 2. The negative experiences at two other dealerships; they showed little sincere interest in what I really wanted. 3. Positive: The salesperson, Peter at Steve Lewis, greeted me as soon as I entered and quickly respected my needs in a car. I paid a reasonable price and then got a thorough orientation about the car and dealership. Everyone who sees my car asks me where I got it and I am pleased to tell them. I will consider having it serviced there. Another plus is it has such comfortable surroundings to wait. This is a very upbeat dealership; customer oriented. I went to Steve Lewis Subaru because I was happy with my previous Subaru (purchased from a different dealer near where I used to live), and because this dearlership has a good reputation. John Acadia is bright, calm, cheerful and straightforward. He worked well with my husband and me. Myron Callender took care of our paperwork in the same manner; he was thorough and resisted any high-pressure sales pitch regarding add-ons. I also appreciated the time John took with me after the sale, to demonstrate all aspects of my new Forester and connect my cell phone with the car's Bluetooth feature!
