My experience at Steve Lewiw Subaru was excellent. When I realized I was in need of a new vehicle I immediately thought of Pete as we've known each other for many years. I didn't know anything about Subaru's but Pete was very informative and was able to find me exactly what I wanted. If you would have told me this morning, that I would almost cry while I was buying a used/pre-owned/factory certified Subaru, I would have laughed at you! However, I almost did cry. The reason is this, I had a Honda Fit.(hold on there is a story here!) Not a bad car but a bit whimpy, and certainly NOT a snow/bad winter weather car! I had purchased the Fit for my ex-fiance. She does a lot of commuting for work. When that ended, I ended up with the car. Winter is coming, and I had been thinking about a Subaru. I happened to see my landlords new Subaru, and the Steve Lewis tag bracket on it. I know he is a very hard man, frugal and most of all fair. I figured, well, these guys must be ok if he did business with them! I happen to know Justin from the dealership, but didn't even realize that he worked at Steve Smith. I just knew he sold cars. Anyway, I ran into Justin last night at a Diner, he gave me his card, I went to the dealership this morning and, in pretty short order, I was in a really nice 2011, OutBack! The reason I almost cried was due to the outstanding level of service and personal attention I received! Justin showed me a car, and then because of financing issues, he ended up showing me another. The real kicker is this...THE SECOND WAS BETTER THAN THE FIRST! Not in a bait and switch way, but in that I was able to save money and get MORE, NOT LESS! Yes the car had more miles, but in the long run...I didn't care! I was sitting at Justins' desk, for about 20 minutes, when a well spoken young man, Myron Callender (Finance Manager) came over and introduced himself. I have bought a few cars and motorcycles in my time, and because I am not too wealthy, I am used to getting jerked around a bit. This was not the case here. He took me into his office, went through the paperwork with me, we chatted and that was that! In fact, he and I both laughed about how some other dealers do business! In conclusion, and not just because I am friendly with the guy who sold me my car, I want you ALL to take note! If you don't come and check out Steve Lewis Subaru, and buy from somewhere else YOU WILL PROBABLY END UP CRYING! Thanks to you guys at Lewis's! Most Sincerely, David N. Goss More
I was looking at small SUV's to give me the room I needed with the fuel efficiency, which I found at Steve Lewis with my first Subaru Forester. The staff (especially Dave, Kerry and Myron) are knowledgeable with the fuel efficiency, which I found at Steve Lewis with my first Subaru Forester. The staff (especially Dave, Kerry and Myron) are knowledgeable and helpful, and made the process of buying a car easier. I got a good deal on my new (to me) 2009 Subaru Forester. They really take their time with each customer in terms of test drives and explaining all of the bells and whistles of the car. I even went back for some questions with my roof rack, which they happily showed me how to move them. What I really thought was nice that Dave actually checked in on me throughout and after the process. I love my Subaru and had a great buying experience at Steve Lewis! More

We went to Steve Lewis Subaru on a recommendation from a friend whom had purchased a new Forester in April. I called and talked to Justin on a Saturday about 4:00pm and stated to him that we wanted to come friend whom had purchased a new Forester in April. I called and talked to Justin on a Saturday about 4:00pm and stated to him that we wanted to come up and look at some Foresters but did not want to tie him up past 5:00. Justin said come on up and don't worry about it. We showed up and were met graciously by Justin at the front door. We sat in his office for a bit chatting on what our wants/needs were. My wife wanted a Forester for her daily driver but we were deciding to buy new or used. We decided on a new leftover 2012 Forester 2.5X premium and signed the deal around 6:00pm that evening and took delivery the following Tuesday. We took delivery Tuesday appx. 6:00pm. Justin took the time to show us the new vehicle and to set it up to my wife's liking, (syncing blue tooth etc). The following day I had noticed a very small issue with the car, I called Justin and then went back to see him where he introduced me to Kerry O'Sullivan. I pointed out the (very small concern) and they immediately took care of it. It is worth noting that I have been involved in the automotive industry for 29+ years so I have a very high understanding of how this industry works. With that being said this was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had, both in sales and in their customer service. I highly recommend Justin as a sales associate to deal with should you choose to visit Steve Lewis Subaru. I would also like to thank Kerry O'Sullivan for the outstanding customer service I received from him. Job well done gentlemen. More
My husband and I had done our research and felt a Subaru would be the safest and best value for dollar car to buy for our daughter who was set to start her second year at UMass Amherst. We had visited Steve Lewis Subaru in Spring 2012 and Jesse took the time to go over the different models with us even though he knew we weren't going to buy a car until Fall 2012. Our family lives in CA but we wanted to have the car registered in MA. So we called Jesse in August 2012 and he emailed us a video of a blue 2012 Forester Limited, the sticker on the car and negotiated a fair price for the car. We closed the deal using the internet and phone and Jesse was just fabulous. He helped me do everything needed in order to have the car ready for us when we flew into MA to move our daughter into the dorm. The car was inspected, insured and registered with license plates already on it so we could just drive off the lot after Jesse showed our daughter all the wonderful options on it. I would definitely recommend Jesse, and Steve Lewis Subaru in general, to anyone thinking of buying a car. Everyone definitely works as a team there - we had a couple of questions about the car afterwards, and even though Jesse wasn't working at the time, his fellow sales people were very helpful in his absence. Jesse and the entire Steve Lewis Subaru team epitomized the spirit of Customer Service! More
