I recently purchased a used vehicle at Steve Lewis Suburu. It was such a great experience working with this dealership. After my initial email inquiry, Steve Gonsalves responded promptly answering any questions I had and checking in with me over the next week. The tone of his emails were always friendly and informative but never pushy which is how I would describe most of the emails/phone calls I received during my car buying process. When I arrived at the dealership Steve introduced me to Gus who showed me the car I was interested in, answered any questions I had and discussed trade in and pricing with me. He did his best to get me as close to the price I was looking for. At one point Kerry O'Sullivan came over to do some final negotiating and he was friendly and helpful as well. Myron Callender helped me with the financing portion. He was efficient and explained everything in detail. I had a very negative experience at an previous dealershsip where I came close to buying a car before I went to Steve Lewis Suburu. It was so nice to have a positive experience at this dealership and to be able to say wonderful things about each and every person that I dealt with during my time there. They took care of all the paperwork, DMV visit, and delivered the car to my doorstep (more than two hours away and in a different) state and picked up my trade in at that time! Highly recommended!! I had already decided on a Subaru, but wasn't sure which direction to go on used versus new. Jesse was so good at showing me all the options I could go with as far as models, options, and financing. I settled on a 2009 Forester L L Bean Limited that I had had my eye on a few years ago and really liked. The whole process from test driving to financing, as well as returning to complete minor cosmetic work that I had requested at time of purchase was painless. In the past I have found that the process of car purchases has been as painful as root canal (haven't had one myself, but I have heard stories!!). Jesse is a true professional who understands his customers' needs in a vehicle and steers them in the right direction with no heavy handed sales tactics. I love my Forester!! More

We hadn't planned on buying a brand new car, but we were presented with such a good offer, that we took it. When we told another dealer what kind of a deal we got, he literally seemed stunned. That's when we knew it was a good deal. We worked with Todd, Steve and a bit with Kerry. Everyone was very nice, easy to talk with, knowledgeable and (surprisingly) not pushy! They truly believe in their product, so selling it seems to come very naturally. More

John Acadia was great. He let me feel like I was in perfect control of the whole process. He made a few suggestions, good ones, and didn't push one bit. Simple, quick and painless. He couldn't have been more helpful but more importantly, he wasn't at all intrusive. Clearly he knew the business and took care of everything. After the sale it wasn't over. The mechanics went over the car and and took care of every issue they found. Some minor, some not so minor. What I ended up with was exactly the car I came for in as good as or in better condition than I expected. More
I went to Steve Lewis with a rough idea of what I wanted on my first day of my car search, and they just happened to have this one great used car for the price I was looking for. Although I wasn't expecting to walk out of the first dealership I visited as a car owner, I definitely hoped to! As a first time car buyer, I was very cautious and hesitant about purchasing a car and didn't think jumping right into a purchase was the best idea. But the facts are the facts and I got a very good deal on my car. On top of it all, Dave & Kerry were very nice and helpful and there was no excessive sales pressure. Like I said, I was a first time buyer and was not familiar with how everything works when you buy a car. Maybe other places do this too, but I was very pleasantly surprised that they handled EVERYTHING except for the inspection. Plates, registration, title, loan. The only thing I had to do was set up insurance and get my car inspected. Everything about the whole process was easy and the only reason I was nervous and somewhat stressed was because I had never bought a car before. More
I was very pleased that i was able to drive off the lot on the same day with the new car. I referred a friend of mine (Laurie Weinberg) aand she wrote to tell me she bought a car there Saturday. The only thing I was unhappy with was that I was unable to negotiate an auto loan of less than $10,000. I bought this car for my daughter and she will be paying the loan and I didn't want her to have such a large loan for her first loan. Someone I work with owns an auto dealership in the Berkshires and she told me they often give loans for as little as $2000-$3000. Peter was the one who pointed out the car to us but he was on his honeymoon so we ended up buying it through Justin. Peter showed me around the lot (I was looking for a car for me) and did not pressure me which I appreciate! Ellen Rowles More
My wife and I can't speak highly enough of Gus Erskine and this Subaru Dealership. The attendance and service was first class, and there was no attempt to force us into a deal. We actually signed all the paperwork and came back the next day to pick up the car only to have more questions and actually ask if we could change the deal for a different car. Most salesmen would probably have blown up at that point, but Gus was gracious and understanding, and took us for more test drives and quoted new prices till we were actually satisfied that our original deal was the best for us. For outstanding service, friendliness, and knowledge, we both definitely give this dealership (and Gus!) five stars out of five. More
