After much review of cars, we chose to look at the Subaru Outback and Forrester at Steve Lewis Subaru. We had been referred to Dave Hanks, who at the time we arrived was busy with another customer, so Gus E Outback and Forrester at Steve Lewis Subaru. Both gentlemen were very patient and helpful in our making the decision to purchase our vehicle. Gus took us on our first test drive and was very informative regarding the features of the Outback. When we returned to the dealership, Dave Hanks was available to continue with our car search, subsequently test driving the Forrester. We were also extremely impressed by the comaraderie between the different employees. They clearly enjoy working with each other and they are also very good at supporting each other. Our salesman John Acadia worked with us logically and promptly to arrive at a price and Joe Clark was very willing to work out the pricing of several of the additional options that we wanted. Mike Teixeira was also very patient and thorough in his explanations of the different financing options, as well as the different service and warranty options. The service department was then excellent and prompt in adding the the additional options that we wanted installed and it was wonderful to have all the paperwork completed before we arrived to pick up our new car. I just bought a Subaru STI from Todd, I received a very good price, with no hassle or messing around. They were able to get the car I wanted when other dealers were insisting this "was not possible". I recently bought a certified used Subaru from Steve Lewis -- a dealership recommended to me by my father-in-law. I did a good deal of research prior to buying so I know that I paid a fair price, and th Lewis -- a dealership recommended to me by my father-in-law. I did a good deal of research prior to buying so I know that I paid a fair price, and the sales people were helpful and not too high-pressure. Each time I went to look at the car, Steve Lewis himself was at the dealership -- and when I signed the papers, he gave me his card and told me to contact him if ever I needed anything. As part of the sales agreement, the dealership said they would touch up some chipped paint spots on the car. They did the job, but it looked awful. I was really disappointed. I took some photos and emailed them to Steve Lewis. Within minutes I got a call from the dealership apologizing and asking me to make another appointment to come in. A few days later I brought the car back in and it came back looking perfect. As far as I'm concerned, this is customer service at its best. Obviously, it would have been nice if the paint had been done right the first time, but mistakes happen anywhere you go. The fact that it was corrected so quickly (and without making me feel like I was an anal jerk) speaks volumes about the quality of this dealership. I will definitely buy from them again, and strongly recommend them to others. From the owner to the sales staff, the people are fair and honorable, which to me is the best thing you can say about a car dealership. More
