This place will try to rip you off so if you have no other choice to buy a car but from them make sure you do yo The worst car buying experience EVER! This place will try to rip you off so if you have no other choice to buy a car but from them make sure you do your research. On October 18th, 2015, I started my process on buying a car from this place. The sales person who should have made me feel welcome and at home totally did not, which is one of there sales objectives that is posted on the wall. She was cold, distracted, and distant which is all of the qualities of a poor sales consultant. During the test drive we received one word answers, and I felt like she was some stranger, that I was giving a ride to. She did not make me feel like I was getting the best car for my money. After test driving the car we decided to purchase the car no help on her part. During the process of signing the paper work she was texting and rushing us to sign so she can get home. After finish signing I was so unhappy with the level of customer service I did not want her to see a dime of commission off of my deal. So I went online and did research to see if I can get a better deal somewhere else. To my surprise this dealership is affiliated with my car insurance USAA and I should have received special pricing. When I brought this to the manger attention at the dealership he told me in a quote "if you do not bring it up will not because we will lose money offering the program to USAA members". After this point I felt like I had to be on guard the whole time I was their because of the lack of transparency of offers that should be given to veterans who served their country. After threating to take my business to another dealership, they gave me the better price on a better car. When it came to finance and sign papers to buy the car , I asked about the college grads program. I honestly felt like the sales manager did not want to offer me the discount on this as-well. This guy tried to find every reason not to give me the $600 for working hard and earning a degree. He went as far as saying "Are you sure you graduated within two years, If your lying you will have to show evidence that you graduated". At the end of this horrible experience when the lady was suppose to show me all the features of the car she only did it halfway because she said and I quote " I have to go, I have to get home to my kids". If you want to buy a car from Nissan please buy the car from Nissan of Chesapeake! More

Surprisingly Fast It has been 10 years since I last purchased a vehicle. That experience then was okay. But, as of yesterday that experience was surpassed by the staff at Nissan of Norfolk. I went in with the intention of just getting an appraisal on my vehicle and possibly to test drive an '16 Maxima. On their website I had suggested that I would like an SR model. Knowing that these vehicles are in high demand right now I knew I probably wouldn't be able to get what I want. But, during the vehicle appraisal the EXACT Maxima I wanted drove up from their Chesapeake store. Their salesman (Mallin Alexander) did a professional walk-around of the vehicle showing me all of the new features. The test drive route he selected for me sealed the deal. Once we got back to the dealership I reviewed the figures given to me and agreed to the deal. There was no long drawn out back and fourth with the salesman or manager. I got exactly what I wanted and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. More

SUPERB I was referred to Nissan of Norfolk through a coworker of mines who had recently purchased a car from there. She gave me Eric's number and told me go to him specifically as he is very friendly and will take care of me. Well, friendly and taking care of me is an understatement. Eric Turner is indeed very courteous, great listener and I must say extremely patient. Patient not just because he would like to make a sale but because I gave him a very hard time and we ended up leaving the store that Saturday around 10pm which is pass closing time. And when I say hard I mean hard but in a respectful way. I asked questions no ordinary female seeking a car would ask, most people buying a car is excited to jump into the driver's seat. That wasn't me other things were more important, making sure I got a really good deal. I also have to acknowledge Anthony in the finance department who worked with me very well making sure the financial aspect was dealt with properly and in the end I was happy. I can go on and on about my experience but I'll say try it for yourself. Just ask for Eric and he will indeed make you happy too. He kept wanting to sell me a car I did not want and he refused to listen to me about my needs. He made me wait while he ran around and helped other people besides me and made up excuses why I had to wait. After I got up to leave because I was fed up with him, he then came to me with a deal. After my deal was final he acted like he could care less about me anymore and went on about his way. I have been waiting patiently for a week now for floor mats to my car that was promised to me but, I keep getting a run around from this dealership. If this is how you treat all your customers then I will never do business with any of you again. I Am very unhappy with the way I was treated and they all act like once I sign the contract then They were done with me because they no longer could make anymore money off me. I Am Sure DAN THE MAN BANISTER does not do business like this and I want him to know that this dealership needs improvement. Thank You for your time. More
