I would not recommend Barker Chevrolet after a recent vehicle purchase this month of a 2025 Acadia. The dealership knew that I was coming with a check to purchase 5 days prior to my visit & when I arrive vehicle purchase this month of a 2025 Acadia. The dealership knew that I was coming with a check to purchase 5 days prior to my visit & when I arrived, they had "misplaced" the title. They had ALL WEEK to locate the title. I was sent home with dealer plates! Come to find out, they told me it was 1 owner but that "1 owner" was a RENTAL COMPANY in California. I was beside myself as I had told my Salesman (Terry) that I did not want to purchase a vehicle that had been a rental prior. I was then promised a refund for my personalized plates of $151.00 & they would cover generic plates for a year. They tried to take that back! I insisted they fulfill that 1 piece of customer service. WHAT A MESS. They ended up complying because I said I was going to return the vehicle, otherwise. Unfortunately, this salesman & dealership came recommend by a family member. NEVER again! The salesman also knew that I was driving 80 minutes to look at the vehicle & never offered (on either of my visits) to take the vehicle to the Bloomington Dealership (where the title supposedly was) which would've been over 20 minutes closer for me. Customer Service? They had ZERO. More
