I had a problem with my Volvo V70 wagon, which I bought from Barry. Up to now, I have had good service from Barry. This is the first time in about 8 months that I was there.
The problem I had was a little unusual. They failed to make the requested repair. Furthermore, they excerised no creative thinking in how to make the repair. In the end, they could replace a $25 part with undertaking a $3,000 repair job. Their solution was outrageous, unimaginative and not helpful.
The service manager who was on this job, Tony, has clearly little or no experience as an auto mechanic. All he could tell me was that he could do nothing.
Subsequently, I have found resources that will solve the problem, and at a fraction of the cost of $3,000, or even the $500 that the original estimate called for.
I am very disappointed with the decline in service at Barry.
