PSA- Dont do business with Basil. Purchased a Ford Flex in July 2020 and still waiting for my registration. I emailed and called to find out that I don’t have it yet because I owe the dealership $400. Mins in July 2020 and still waiting for my registration. I emailed and called to find out that I don’t have it yet because I owe the dealership $400. Mins you my temp registration expired a month ago. I owed $400 because I was told I was paying $4000 down. When I get there I’m told it’s $4400. So I signed an iou for the $400. Now the drivers door is rusted on the inside of it to the point that it needs to be replaced. After going back and forth with my sales person Sara it was decided that $300 of the iou was being forgiven and I would pay to replace the door on my own. Sara stated to me that she would handle the remaining $100 herself. Also the windshield was leaking. Sara got me set up with the people to fix it no problem. As a result I need to have the car inspected again. Mind you I paid for the first one. So I go get it done. And I’m shocked to find out that I have to pay for it. I didn’t make the windshield leak. When I picked it up it had a severely torn wiper blade on it. Which in NYS fails inspection. Yet it had a bright new sticker on it. The financing of the car was a pain too. The finance company wasn’t being given the info they asked for “several times” as they put it. At any rate I now have an expired registration and the finance manager , Mary tells me via email that when I pay the $400 she will send my registration to the DMV. I’m not paying it. So if it’s not sent and I mean now I’ll be bringing the vehicle back. Basil can pay the finance company back and refund my $4000 deposit as my trade in has been sold already. My family has purchased 5 vehicles from Basil. This will be the last one. I’m going to repost this daily as it’s been removed already. It will be posted on my page and on the 18 yard sale groups I belong too. An add in the buffalo news starts in 2 weeks! More

I must say that all aspects of the sale were professional, smooth and easy going. Patrick Schultz went out of his way to accommodated my needs being handicapped and found the right vehicle. I traded in the 1st car purchased 4+ years ago and got a good deal. What impressed me is the length and effort he went to find my car offering 3 other vehicles that might fit my needs. I had a few things detailed and tweaked after, I found my car and the Service Department was great and very polite. Hats Off to the entire Basil Team!!! I will spread the word................... More

And didn't try to put me into a vehicle that fit the monthly sales quotas.
