If I could do negative 100 stars I would. Let’s put it out there I’m beyond angry and so is my husband. Did we get loud yes we did, did we swear when we left yes we did. This is the rude disgusting displa out there I’m beyond angry and so is my husband. Did we get loud yes we did, did we swear when we left yes we did. This is the rude disgusting display of customer service I have ever encountered. The policy of service department is the customer is always wrong and must be trying for a freebie.I spent about 1800 there since November. The owner is unable to understand analogies rather get a bad review and lose business over cheap repair that might cost 20 in materials, sounds legit. I had other repairs I would have done there but I will never set foot on that property again and I encourage others to stay away, read all the reviews about the owner and service manager, you will see this isn’t a one time incident. It’s frequent. Here it goes can’t wait for her response November2020 got repairs of 1500 for inspection including tires(note they have no warranty on tires or service) after leaving lot my tpms light came on, stopped in a few days later they said too time consuming. March2021 oil change asked again about tpms and told them tires getting low, they can’t do anything takes too much time July 2021 oil change asked about tires again as now they are getting bad, told brakes had 15% left and two tire at 22 and two at 45, seems like an issue to me. Left with tpms light still on. No explanation about tires, no resolve Called aug2021 made appointment for tires and asked my husband to join me to witness the nasty attitude of the service manager Frank I think ? Sept 2021, showed up attempted to recap my frustration , he refused to listen kept talking over me . Telling me that it was the bead seal they checked last time how ever I corrected him and said he never checked then he diagnosed over the phone. My husband got sick of him treating me terrible and spoke up, nope they kicked him out? Refused to listen as the service Manager walked out back and the owner appeared mysteriously. She must of thought I expected new tires? She was even nastier than the service manager! We kept trying to ask them when they mount the tires why they didn’t notice that they needed to bead seal, They had the inability to answer the question and kept dancing around it like the question didn’t exist. It was an important question because you need to be sealed if your wheels are corroded. I think they would’ve noticed my wheels were corroded when they mounted the tires. She said you can’t come in complaining about tires you’ve got in November. Told her this was our fourth time coming in about the tires and obviously were upset and I wanted them to solve the problem. So me and my husband walked out the door and I said wow these people have an attitude to my husband and I went over to get in his car she followed me outside with my keys very aggressively as the service manager pressed his face against the glass to see what was going on. She told me that they did not want to work on my car. I thought she was the owner I thought it was her job to have her employees do work but apparently at this establishment the employees choose Whether they like the customer or not as a determining factor if they decide to work on the car. I wonder if these people at this establishment just hate disabled veterans. I’m not sure what their issue is with veterans. As she’s dangling my keys telling me the guys don’t really wanna work on my car I asked her if she went to Dunkin’ Donuts for days in a row and her order was wrong would she upset. Her response and inability to understand an analogy was I don’t drink coffee. You can’t get through to this woman no matter what you say to her. I showed her my tires and said they keep going low I have to carry with me a pump to pump them up. She said well you got the tires in November and I told her that she didn’t know how many miles I drove on the tires. Told her for all she knew I drive 100 miles on the tires, She told me I look like a person that drove more than 100 miles? She pretended like I was screaming at her and kept covering her ears? Stay away far away More

Green backs matter!!! We emailed several dealerships making the model, color and options very clear. I also included the statement, "you get on bite at the apple so make it count." Since Bath Subaru is making the model, color and options very clear. I also included the statement, "you get on bite at the apple so make it count." Since Bath Subaru is close to home we went to look at the vehicles and while the salesman was nice, the only argument for paying $2,000 more than other dealers was the "Black lives matter." We then were handed off to the owner who argued that he didn't know if the other quotes were believable or even real I handed him the email to which he commented that I could have changed it so I handed my phone with the quote and his response was, "we are not in the business of losing money." Horrible dealership. Sold us a brand new vehicle that was a Lemon that started malfunctioning within 5 days and wouldn’t take it back. The owner Bruce eventually resorted to name calling and I ended up havin a Lemon that started malfunctioning within 5 days and wouldn’t take it back. The owner Bruce eventually resorted to name calling and I ended up having to resolve the issue with corporate. I have no doubt they knew the car had problems before selling it to us. Add to that, the service department is incompetent. Do yourself a favor and buy your subaru from one of the dozens of other dealerships in Maine. Don’t be fooled by the lower prices like we were / it’s for a reason, they are selling you junk cause they are crooks. Especially Bruce the owner (seems like a nice touch that he’s there but in reality he just doesn’t have anything better to do and is too cheap to hire a professional to manage his shop). More
I just experienced one of the most duplicitous sales experiences I've ever encountered. Ignore the advertised prices - they are designed only to get you into the sales process. I brought my car in for a 60k service, Maine inspection, to check the battery (as it had needed to be jumped recently), and to check for a cause to a rubbing noise that increased when my speed increased. I got a phone call to authorize battery replacement and a call when the service was complete. On inspecting the car in the parking lot, my husband checked the rear passenger light which he had noticed being out when following me down to the appointment. I forgot to mention it to service, but assured my husband they would see it during the 60k service and state safety check. They did not. In addition, the engine hood latch, which I have difficulty having catch on occasion, also did not close properly when I checked for the new belt, etc, I had just paid for. The latch had been cleaned but did not work properly. For $943.93, I have no confidence in the service I received, and I was chastised and disrespected by the manager and owner of the dealership. This is my fifth Subaru. I have never had such a horrible customer service experience anywhere in my lifetime. This is extremely disturbing when, in fact, a little common courtesy and humble admission of an oversight would have sent me off forgiving a missed bad bulb and a poor judgement call on not calling about the latch. Instead, I now question if my next vehicle will be a Subaru. More
First of all, there was one very nice person in the service department, a woman and she has been cheerful and helpful every time I talk to her but that is where the positivity ends. Every time I call f service department, a woman and she has been cheerful and helpful every time I talk to her but that is where the positivity ends. Every time I call for help here the people I've spoken to have been rude and abrupt making me almost feel sorry for bothering them. This isn't right. If you call the medical clinic across the river I work, Midcoast Internal Medicine, you will be greeted with kindness and understanding and we will take time for you not treat you like a nuisance just because you are calling with a simple question. Because, guess what, That's my job! My job is to give the best care I can to my patients. Your job is to do that for your customers. I will never get another vehicle from this horrible place again. The worst customer service I've experienced anywhere for anything. More

Their Autocheck system did not show the accident. Carfax showed the accident right away. Bath Subaru first said the accident didn't happen, then said the accident hadn't been so bad ($7000 damages?), then blamed it on the previous owner. They took no accountability for knowing about their cars before they sell them. Bruce (the owner) and Blake Mcelman w(Bruce's to son) were very hard to work with. They tried to give me as little as possible, when this was very clearly their mistake. It took weeks of negotiation to reach an agreement (right down to the 30th day after purchase). They tried to not pay me back for my trade in, instead give it back to me. I had to remind them they own it, because they bought the trade in when I bought their car. Eventually, I returned the car and received my money back. That part they followed to the letter of the law, I got my refund and not one penny more for the complications and extra work this created for me (car shopping for 2 months, one to buy the Bath Subaru used car, one to find it's comparable replacement). They literally would do nothing to make me feel better about my dealings with them. This was a horrible experience, and I am so glad it's over. I would never recommend anyone buy a car or have it serviced at Bath Subaru. They cannot be trusted, if they don't know the history of their vehicles before they put them up for sale. More
