I purchased a 2021 Ram Power Wagon from Bayer Cadillac Chevrolet and had a very disappointing experience. Before purchasing, I specifically asked about the condition of the truck, including whether the Chevrolet and had a very disappointing experience. After receiving the vehicle, I found multiple dents that required repair (about $500), and there is still visible damage on the tailgate that could not be corrected. I was also told by dealership management that the vehicle had been thoroughly inspected and that any issues had been addressed prior to sale. Within just 273 miles of ownership, the truck required extensive suspension and steering repairs totaling over $6,500, with additional repairs still needed. A franchised Ram dealership later confirmed significant mechanical issues, including incorrect front suspension components and steering system problems consistent with pre-existing conditions. I brought all of this back to the dealership with documentation, but they declined any responsibility and stated the vehicle was sold “as-is.” I understand buying a used vehicle comes with some risk, but this situation went far beyond normal wear and tear, especially given the representations made prior to purchase. The dealership had the vehicle for approximately 1,500 miles prior to sale, making it difficult to understand how these issues were not identified.
