Great Experience I was very pleased with Beach Ford. My wife was in an accident and her car was totaled. So, we had a limited window to shop for a new vehicle. We researched pricing online and found a Certified Pre-owned at a very competitive price. The entire process was painless. We visited the dealership the day after the accident. I explained that we needed to wait for her car to be "officially" totaled (I was sure it was) before we could buy anything. Our salesperson, Faron, showed us a vehicle that was perfect. We drove it and he let us go without hassle or pressure. Three days later we received word that our previous vehicle was in fact totaled and we should proceed with buying another one. I called Faron and set up a time. We drove it again, went inside and worked out the paperwork. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Two important facts about my situation. I spend many years in the car business, so it was strange to sit on the other side of the desk. Believe me, they want to sell you a car, but they also care about getting you what you want and something you can afford. Second, I did some work for the owner of this company through my work. Upgrading to newer vehicle I must say, that dealing with a car dealer is not high on my priority list. I must say, that it was a most pleasant experience. After deciding on the upgrade, we decided on the Ford Edge offered by Beach. The whole experience was a comfortable, laid back transaction. Service Ripp Off I went in for an oil change and a Mazda recall. When I received my invoice Beach Automotive added a $6.22 Misc Charge to my bill. When questioned, the I went in for an oil change and a Mazda recall. When I received my invoice Beach Automotive added a $6.22 Misc Charge to my bill. When questioned, the cashier was unable to give me an answer for the charge. It’s on every invoice she I think for. I paid the bill but called afterwards to speak to the service manager. He too was unable to give a good reason for the charge. Everyone gets charged this amount “for supplies”. What supplies? For an oil change, paper towels? Everyone gets charged this? Whether supplies are used or not. Is it just a cover charge for entering the dealership? Totally unfair! This dealership is known for not being honest. Please read the reviews you’ll get treated much more fairly elsewhere. I purchased 2 cars from this dealership in one day. I will not return to this dealership ever again. More
