Beau Townsemd and Nissan lost a customer today. I purchased my 2009 Murano from you and have diligently followed the service schedule. I participated in the "tires for life program" to which I fou purchased my 2009 Murano from you and have diligently followed the service schedule. I participated in the "tires for life program" to which I found out today was a farce. In fact', my opinion of Beau Townsend Nissan after today's experience is that the place is operated by ............ I will indeed share my experience with everyone I speak to, from friends on Facebook and Twitter, to Nissan USA and the Better Business Bureau. To say you will not honor the "tires for life" merely because I had my Murano serviced by another Nissan dealership while out of state is indicative of the character of your business. This was the 1st service visit for my 2011 Versa. So impressed with the process beginning with the appointment set-up through servicing. Staff is professional yet extremely friendly. Since my May 2011 Versa purchase I've recommended my sales person, Anthony, and this dealership numerous times. My brother since purchased a vehicle from Anthony and just the other day my best friend along with her husband stopped by to check out vehicles. They were also impressed with the dealership. It was important to me this dealership have a strong service center as I rely heavily on the service dept for service reminders, etc. I am extremely pleased with my purchase, sales and service. Completely puzzled this time at dealership. Had made an appointment and employee greeting us did not ask us who we were or why we were there. I told him that we had an appointment for service and he said appointment and employee greeting us did not ask us who we were or why we were there. I told him that we had an appointment for service and he said have a seat. Generally there would be some question re air filter etc but there was no questions or paperwork. In addition as we were heading toward the showroom the employee holding our key fob said he needed our keys to start our Murano. I told him what to do. A salesman said he was new and I made the comment that he should have been trained to start these cars. After service I asked a mechanic if he new the status of our Murano and how did the service go he said he didnt do our service and brushed us off. Up until now we have really liked Townsend Nissan, the staff, sales and service. Now I am somewhat concerned. I dont expect a whole lot nowadays but courteous service and professionalism should not be disregarded. Think you and Regards More
