Our Santa Fe lost all power, the engine quit on the PA turnpike and was towed to your facility. The reading on the battery volyage was around 11 and both the tow truck driver and I thought that the proble turnpike and was towed to your facility. The reading on the battery volyage was around 11 and both the tow truck driver and I thought that the problem was with the alternator. We left the car with service and a new battery was installed. We were assured that the alternator was not the culprit, yet during the trip and after arriving safely home, the battery was again around 11 volts with the engine not running and dropped to 10.9 with the engine running. The car lost power and the engine quit again just as I pulled in a service center the following day. The consensus is that the alternator is not working as it should. While Bryan Levan was very accommodating in our time of need, I feel that the service center performed a very poor job in resoving a problem that others found to be obvious, a problem which could have once more stranded me on the turnpike and called for another tow.
