Absolutely dreadful. Not trustworthy at all. We purchased a 16K truck from them that broke down within two weeks and required 6500K in repairs to be safely road worthy. We had trusted the report of their mechanics (naive us) and had expected an honest disclosure. When we approached the owner, Dan Berkenkotter, about our situation, he denied all responsibility and became strangely childish and passive aggressive. He initially offered us $500 towards repairs (nice, but also a scant portion of the $6500 required), but he decided not to follow through. He said, "I was going to send a check until he started bashing me and going off on me," referring to my partner, who had been polite - but openly disappointed - by Berkenkotter's refusal to do more. Apparently, gaslighting is Dan's way of reacting when someone asks him why a car he just sold doesn't work. That's right, Dan, everyone else is just so darn mean and unreasonable! So please beware. I'm shocked they have such good reviews here; I'm glad other people had a good time, but our experience was both pricey and disappointing. The broken car wouldn't have been the worst thing and the sales team was a delight...but the communication with Dan was like talking to an angry 6-year old. More
