Took my car for a simple oil change. Took them 4 hours and destroyed one of the four air valves. I was told that no issues with my coils were found. I had my engine replaced and right after my AC stopped working. I brought my car in to have them take a look and figure out what went wrong after the replacement. I took it in on Monday. I was told they would tell me on Tuesday what went wrong. I called Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday , Friday and Saturday… I finally got an update and they are telling me that they need to run a diagnostic that will cost $300. I was told they would determine the issue and either fix it or let me know. Now they want to charge me, after holding my car for a week with no update? It seems like bad practice. More
I visited Hyundai of Lincolnwood and spoke with manager Josoe regarding a lease for a 2025 Elantra. I provide my credit score and shared all necessary details, but the lease estimate I received was nearly Josoe regarding a lease for a 2025 Elantra. I provide my credit score and shared all necessary details, but the lease estimate I received was nearly twice the national advertised price. I asked multiple times for a full lease breakdown by email (monthly payment, money factor, residual value, fees), but Josoe never provided one. Instead, I was told to "just call" and was ignored when I insisted on written communication. As someone new to the U.S., I felt taken advantage of and not treated with the honesty or professionalism I expected. I’ve chosen to work with another dealership that values transparency. More

He NEVER responded. In addition, they took the loaner back, I surrendered the vehicle, and they won’t credit me for all payments, insurance etc, unless I fill out forms and submit. Also they told me to continue making payments on the vehicle I don’t have, or my credit PART 3 Surprisingly and more importantly, the GM at this dealership Scott did contact me and asked what he could do to make it right? I told him my story and what I expected from them to make it right, and to my surprise he did. Scott stepped up, made it right and truly understood what it means to keep the customer happy as well as do the right thing! Faith restored. More
