Setting with Mike going over the details was actually more like meeting a new friend than haggeling with a car salesman. He made what has been a painful process in previous car buying experiences a pleasant and relaxed transaction. Even with the other calls and customers comimg in he made it a point to not waste my time and to work with his manager to get me the price I wanted and a fair price for my trade in. Once the deal was made he made sure all my questions were answered and that I was trained on using all the bells and whistles that came with the new car. I went to Hyundai Ron Carter find a vehicle low in price to maintain my monthly payment at what I was currently paying or lower and that had better fuel economy than the vehicle I had. I wasn't specifically looking for a "New" vehicle, just something to get me to and from work without using too much fuel. I was expecting to leave with a used vehicle but Kilan showed me a new 2013 Hyundai Elantra that fell within my range and went to work on the deal. Kilan and the Team at Ron Carter Hyundai were very determined to make the deal work so that it would fall within what I was looking for. During the 3 hours my wife and I were there, Kilan and Team were always making sure if we needed any refreshments and were comfortalbe. My experience with my sales person was awesome. Clarence was coming out to the lot because he was in the middle of taking care of someting for another client. He explained he was checking on something for another client but would love to help me. Clarence had a great smile and was very professional and positive. He asked questions about me, what I wanted and. what I needed. Although it was Saturday and very busy, Clarence kept me informed of what was going on throughout the entire process. Other sales people and dealership workers often asked if I was doing ok. My situation caused for me to need transportation. Clarence quickly came to pick me up. When my deal was complete it was better than expected and better than the original estimate. Thanks to everyone for their hard work and dedication. I truly would recommend this dealership. More

I wanted to start out by saying that I bought my last two cars (used) at CARMAX so that I wouldn’t have to deal with the stereotypical car salesman. After doing research I found that Ron Carter of Clearlake cars (used) at CARMAX so that I wouldn’t have to deal with the stereotypical car salesman. After doing research I found that Ron Carter of Clearlake have the best price for the make, model, mileage, etc. for the new car that I wanted. I put on my hard hat and was ready to go to battle as I approached Ron Carter parking lot ready to wheel and deal. I was greeted by Clarence Farmer as I walked toward the front door with a genuine smile and handshake. What caught me off guard is that he truly cares about the customer and their needs. He listened intently as described what I needed in a vehicle and 10 minutes later we were on a test drive and my trade in was getting appraised. The car check out but they didn’t have the color in stock that I wanted so… they had it shipped in that following week. During this time they put me in a loaner car and was brand new and loaded. Clarence called me regularly to keep me informed on where my new car was at and when to expect it. I can’t say enough about Clarence. He is very personable, enthusiastic, and eager to earn you business. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great experience. Bottom line is I got a better price, lower percentage rate and shorter terms than CARMAX for a brand new car vs. used. More
