Ron Carter Hyundai is the #1 Hyundai store in the Houston area. We do this by selling cars to several hundred happy and satisfied customers each month. While we are proud of this fact it does come with challenges. When regularly selling over 350 new & preowned hyundais per month misunderstandings can and do occur from time to time. Each vehicle listing/ePrice on our website states "Internet Prices include discounts and all available rebates; consumer must qualify for rebates...". Qualifying for rebates ranges from Finance Bonus Cash-that requires HMF approval to military service or current Hyundai ownership, etc. We agree that it is possible that we may have failed to properly explain our processes to you during your visit. We will be reviewing this with our management staff as we do not ever like to see a customer leave dissatisfied. Again, we appreciate your having visited with us and apologize for any inconvenience. We did not see this vehicle on the internet. At the dealership, when we expressed interest in this car and wanted to know the pricing, the salesman presented us with a printout of options on the vehicle and a price. (there were no disclaimers about the price on the paper nor did anyone tell us that what we saw would not be our price) The manager, Scott, said you were "just like Saturn" and printed your pricing on the internet so that there would be no negotiations necessary. The $5000 discount printed on the page was the discount offered for that vehicle. A new 2013 received a $3500 discount. There is more we could talk about but my stress level is rising right now. I was sick for an entire day after our experience at Ron Carter (I have an illness aggravated by stress) and I don't want to trigger it again.
