I had been searching for a new car for a few months. I went to several different dealerships and spoke with over 10 sales persons. He sold me a new Hyundai Sonata and I was a little skeptical at first because I wasn't looking for a sedan, but his knowledge and advice of the car had me sold in minutes. I was interested in buying a used car off their lot. Admittedly I came in pretty late in the day. I started to throw out cash but had reservations. I offered that a check would be easier in case the deal didn't work out. They said it wasn't a big deal & they would hold the car until we could work out the paperwork the next day. I shook hands and left. I thought I had a friendly new dealership to work with since I was mainly buying the car to rebuild damaged credit from a failed business. Two days later I called Christian back a bit confused. He promised to call back in FIVE minutes.....That was five hours ago (and now they're closed) If they wanted to not do the deal.....1 Shouldn't have been so anxious to get my cash deposit only to balk at my check. (very shady) 2 Have the courtesy to politely let me off the hook . Make up a lame excuse if necessary. 3 xxxx tell me my credit was just too poor. More
