Service Department and Quick Lane Too Busy! I have been a very satisfied customer of Bill Collins Ford since the purchase of my Certified Pre-owned 2015 Ford Escape in 2018. My only disappo I have been a very satisfied customer of Bill Collins Ford since the purchase of my Certified Pre-owned 2015 Ford Escape in 2018. My only disappointment is that it is VERY difficult to get even an oil change accomplished without either taking a 1/2 day off from work or asking co-workers to pick help me drop off and pick up the car, as I work 8 miles from the dealership. There is no way to set up an appointment unless it is a significant maintenance event. This past week I tried to arrive at Quick Lane early, only to find 12 others waiting for the door to open at 8am. I left and came back to the regular service department at 1pm for an oil change, tire rotation and transmission flush. It took 3 hours to complete the service and 25 minutes for the paperwork to get to the cashier. I then saw the notice that the dealership is now charging a 3.99% fee if one uses their credit card (unless it is a Ford card). That added $11.00 to my total bill. When I voiced my displeasure with how busy the service department is and that I might have to seek out another Ford dealership, I was told it is this bad at all the dealerships, as I live in "a Ford town". Everyone is very polite and I have no issue with the quality of the work. It is just almost too much trouble to continue to have the dealership provide the service for my Escape. The credit card fee left a bad taste in my mouth that has me considering no longer doing business with Bill Collins Ford. It seem unfortunate, as I really was very happy with doing business there up till now. More

We are from out of town, but went to drive the vehicle, but after driving it we knew it was not the vehicle for us.. Tony took he time and showed us what cars we asked about because he wanted to make sure we were happy if we decided to purchase a vehicle. No pressure at all. Tony was very knowledgeable about any vehicle we asked about. We did purchase a Ford Tarsus Limited. Poor customer service and no communication My wife and I had a horrible experience with Bill Collins Ford. My wife left our daughter's car with them on a Thursday morning to be looked over for My wife and I had a horrible experience with Bill Collins Ford. My wife left our daughter's car with them on a Thursday morning to be looked over for a faulty driver side window. We requested an estimate before any work was done. Friday approached and we never received a phone call letting us know an estimate or a status on the car. Friday rolled into Saturday and still no phone call from Bill Collins. When Monday arrived, my wife and I called several times were told each time (when someone would actually answer), that they would check on the car and call us back. I made a phone call at 11 and by 2, had not heard anything. Several voicemails were left and still no one contacted us. My wife finally had enough and went to the Dealership's Service Center to find out what was going on. When she arrived, she was told that the car still had not been looked at. The Service Rep proceeded to argue with her on what her request was instead of apologizing about not returning a phone call to give at least give a status on the car. Four days, the dealership had the car, yet they couldn't take the time to the lowest of Customer Service requirements which is maintain communication with the customer. We use to purchase all of our vehicles at Bill Collins but will no longer. My father-in-law, a long time Ford employees and life long customer of Ford products would roll over in his grave if he knew how we were treated. They have lost a customer. There lack of communication compounded with their rude service reps was enough for us. More
