"Uncle" Pete DESERVES to drink the coffee My wife and I were interested in an All Wheel Drive vehicle. We went to the dealership to look at models, because it was on our way to Lowes. We met Uncle Pete, a gregarious man, who was most likely hired through a program to help out the elderly. He was fantastic. When he asked us who the car was for, and I said my wife, he did what most people don't, and actually talked to her. He wanted to know what she wanted. Then he took his time, and explained the benefits the Subaru Legacy for what she wanted. He didn't try to pressure an upsell to an Outback or Forrester, but instead he gave the customer what she wanted. The price was right at where my internet research said it would be. The finance guy, Mike Moore (who probably lifts the cars for an hour before work each day), was very explanatory, courteous, and professional. My wife came away from the experience very happy, and said she had never liked shopping for cars before, but she thought this was the best. Boardman Subaru has earned a loyal customer, and when I go looking for a new vehicle for myself in two years, I would like to work with Uncle Pete again, if he is still with us God Willing, if not, then the rest of the crew were all very nice and I'm sure one of them will try to work up to Pete's standards. More

Friendly service and a great car are a winning combination! I had been thinking about buying a new car for several months. I had done some research and was impressed with the Subaru's safety features and their I had been thinking about buying a new car for several months. I had done some research and was impressed with the Subaru's safety features and their resale value. I spoke with a friend that owns a Subaru and she said she was very happy with her Forester. She said some of her relatives and friends now had Subarus as well. My daughter and I stopped at Boardman Subaru on a Saturday afternoon about an hour before closing time. As I was walking around the lot looking at the different models, my daughter went into the showroom to see if there was someone that could answer some questions for us. They were very busy but a gentleman asked if she needed help and he said he would find someone that could help us. Doug Shirley was very friendly and helpful. We took a test drive and then sat down with Doug to discuss prices and options. By the time we came up with some final figures, it was an hour past closing time. He never rushed us and didn't get upset when I said I wanted to think about it over the weekend. On Monday when I called to say that I wanted the car, he said that he would turn me over to Uncle Pete because he was actually an Internet salesperson. Uncle Pete was very helpful as well. He made the arrangements to have the car ready that day. Before we left he made sure that I knew about the different features of the car. John Jones took care of the financing and was very helpful as well. I was very impressed with the friendliness of all the employees that I dealt with and highly recommend the Boardman Subaru dealership. More

I couldn't believe how simple and pleasant the process was. I met with Kevin Suchora in the morning and test drove an Outback. He answered all my questions and didn't pressure me into anything! 2 hours later, I was driving my new Outback home. Kevin even followed me home so I could return my truck! The next day, I returned to have the Outback detailed with the "Auto Butler" (Looks Great!) and they had a rental waiting for me to use! I still can't believe how nice and simple everything went! I've told everyone I know and recommended them to Boardman Subaru! More

He made that experience so positive that I have bought 3 other cars from him since then! Kevin is very honest, takes time explaining all the cars, and their features, you are looking at, and patiently answers all the questions you ask. Most importantly he is NEVER pushy.
