Bought my first, new car today and could not be happier! Anthony was my first contact when I was looking to buy. He was great at giving me speedy responses to my emails. An unexpected pleasant experience It was with great trepidation that I entered the dealership, having experienced more than my share of car buying horror stories involving "over zealou It was with great trepidation that I entered the dealership, having experienced more than my share of car buying horror stories involving "over zealous" salesmen. Nonetheless, I took a deep breath and opened the door. To my amazement the atmosphere had a good vibe, it appeared calm, peaceful and friendly. No one charged at me, but as I wondered around someone asked if they could help me and I explained that I had been checking cars on line and had talked with someone but couldn't recall who. They called Dan Roberts to help me. At this point I must say that Dan has more patience than anyone I have ever met. I thought I knew what I wanted, but I did not. Every car I inquired about, he answered any questions I had and offered a test drive. I took up a tremendous amount of Dan's time but could not make a decision. I told him I had to go home and think about it, I wasn't sure anymore what I wanted. Dan remained pleasant, patient, courteous and kind. No pressure, just a reassurance that if I had any questions or wanted to try out any other cars, to please call him. It was several days before I came back. Dan had kept in touch. We discussed many different financial options as my budget was limited. I looked at more cars and took more test drives. After many hours of Dan's time I finally settled on a used car and Mike Moore worked out the finances to fit my budget. I know this is lengthy but I want to make sure you understand that it is amazing the time and the lengths that Dan went to to make sure I had a car that I could afford and that I was comfortable in and that I was happy with. I never thought I would use the words car buying and pleasant in the same sentence, but it was. Thank you Dan and thank you Boardman Subaru! More
