I was left with a bad taste in my mouth by Caldwell. First, address the customer concerns in a timely manner. Secondly, when you are given an initial quote, but given an updated quote 6 hrs later that is 5x’s the I initial quote, however the most basic details of diagnosing an issue, such as running a computer diagnostic, have not yet been performed, that leads the customer to mistrust the service department. When the proposed estimate is potentially 5x’s more than the initial estimate, that sends a red flag. Honestly, I felt a bit taken given that I don’t have an established relationship with this service department so I took my business elsewhere. I may be in the minority, but I would not recommend Caldwell to any Dodge customers. Again, the tactics felt shady and left me with a bad taste in my mouth. More
