Hate to hear it but appreciate the constructive criticism. Fact of the matter is we are not overly busy but have been hit hard with high level of driveability work which requires certain techs to diag and correct. Normally, next day review and repair is average for industry standard and recently just hit harder than normal. Nonetheless, no excuses and we will review in the next Service meeting. We are always more than willing to have a tech speak with the customer. This does not happen often but with intermittent concerns or comebacks or generally odd issues we encourage the tech and customer speak so that there is nothing lost in translation. That said the advisors job is to make sure everything is verbalized in a manner that is understandable for the customer. The advisor serves the purpose to communicate throughout the time the vehicle is hear, work with third party companies and coordinate repairs with parts department. Finally they must make sure all documentation and paperwork is perfected for the benefit of parties involved. Seemingly simple it becomes a difficult job when you have 20-30 customers at any given time and rarely is each repair simple. The advisor allows the tech that time to be spent with their best skill set which is repairing the vehicle. If there is anything that is still a concern on your vehicle, I would be happy to setup an appointment and if the tech needs to be involved, we can make that happen too.
