If you were asked for 3.5 hours you had other repairs, diag or maintenance. 2 hours is the standard charge for brakes industry wide. Really sorry to hear this Saylord and whether it be perception or reality, neither are a look look for our business. In regards to the aesthetics we do ask that all advisors walk the vehicle for a couple reasons. 1 to inspect the vehicle for any safety items to bring to the customer's attention, 2 to make sure any dents, scratches, or blemishes are identified prior to us taking custody of the vehicle...call it a cya process. The issue with multiple quotes I can not speak on unless I know your name or understand what the vehicle came for and was diagnosed. The advisors are asked to update all customers at once, ideally 2 to 3 times per day so sometimes the diagnoses had not been completed when providing an update. Instead of guessing happy to get involved if you feel it be of interest? It would certainly help us understand how we can better our experience. Great job but Matt the service director said on Saturday he was gonna put something in my file. Originally I was supposed to have my oil and tires done on Saturday but my appointment time got taken away when I had gotten to the dealership. I bought the jeep there so I have 3 free oil and tire rotations this year I just used my second but Matt said he would do something for me in the future!
