Took my 2026 Tahoe to Ridge Road for its first oil change and tire rotation. Before I dropped it off, I marked the tires as I usually do to make sure they were done. Well guess what? DID NOT HAPPEN - when and tire rotation. Before I dropped it off, I marked the tires as I usually do to make sure they were done. Well guess what? DID NOT HAPPEN - when I asked about it and showed my evidence to the service clerk, he got his manager. NOT HAPPY with the service manager's response. The manager proceeds to explain to me the tech thought the tires were fine and due to low mileage, he did not rotate them. BUT they were going to charge me for it! Manager then says that the service clerk was not aware that the tech did not rotate the tires and "its free anyway". So, I guess their lack of communication is on me. I checked the oil at home and it was new, but I am questioning if the oil filter was changed. I don't trust Bob Johnson Chevrolet at all at this point. Our household has purchased seven vehicles from this location in the last 20 years, and we have any major service done there. This would have been a perfect teaching opportunity for them to address the lack of communication between the service desk, the tech group and allowing the customer to decide if the tires should be rotated. I was not looking for a heartfelt apology. An acknowledgement of less-than satisfactory service would have been appreciated. Regards, Jody Solpietro (585) 314-1104 More
