My son drove from Fort Worth Texas and I drove from Fort Wayne to meet in Indy for the state wrestling championships. His power driver's seat adjustment was stuck in position for his 4' 10" wife who usually drives the Sonata. He is 5' 7" so he had driven about 900 miles with his knees in the dash.
I took a chance that the service department might have a cancellation that Saturday so they could see if it was easily fixable. They were kind enough to take a look and saw that a new switch was needed to move the seat back far enough for comfort. Unfortunately the part was not available until Monday when we would be gone so we switched vehicles for the return trips.
I really appreciated the service department's extra effort in checking this problem out. They were fully booked, but took the time to try to help. I would certainly recommend the service department for their courtesy, speed, kindness and knowledge.
