Got me out of a bad pickle I was in town for work when my Jeep began to smoke. I was able to bring in my Jeep that same day and get it fixed that same day. After Sales Service I purchased my 2014 Dodge Avenger new from Boniface-Hiers Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Merritt Island in August of 2014. In late 2016 or early 2017 I began I purchased my 2014 Dodge Avenger new from Boniface-Hiers Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Merritt Island in August of 2014. In late 2016 or early 2017 I began to notice that my clear coat was beginning to break down. There were what seemed to be tiny bubbles developing at a a few places on the car's body and all edges of the upper parts of the doors. I made several trips to the dealership's service department to discuss the issue and made several phone calls to same. Eventually photos of the clear coat defects were taken by the dealership's service department's personnel and the district representative was consulted. After the photos were taken, I was told to take my car to Therber Collision Center off of Grissom Parkway in Cocoa so that the owner, Mike, could look it over and provide an estimate to Boniface-Hiers. After this I think it was two business days and Boniface-Hiers' service advisor Ross Smith called me to say that my car was approved for a warranty repaint. Whew.... I was relieved to hear this ! We set up a date for the work to commence (about a week later). I asked Ross if it were possible to get a loaner vehicle. I jokingly asked for a Hellcat. He looked into that and was able to arrange for a loaner vehicle for five days. This was good news and I was grateful. My car required an estimated 2.5 weeks in the paint shop. Part of that time was over the Memorial Day weekend. Anyway I dropped my Avenger off to Ross in the service department on a Monday morning. I was sent to the cashier to pick up the loaner. After presenting my license and proof of insurance and signing some papers, the cashier gave me the keys and she said that your vehicle is the Grey Jeep Wrangler out in front (she gestured east). Not being that familiar with the Jeep product line, her words didn't really register with me until I walked outside . There it was a beautiful Grey 2017 Jeep Wrangler 4 Door 4x4 Hardtop 3.6 Liter V6 Automatic head turning machine ! Wow ! Thank you Ross ! What a great vehicle and very nicely optioned. And the steering wheel audio controls matched my Avenger so there was no learning curve there.. What a nice riding and quiet vehicle with smooth and strong power delivery. Very impressive ! I think their strategy was to get me to trade in for the Jeep. I was really tempted. Anyway I called the service department the day before the Jeep was due back and talked to Craig Hiers (as in Boniface-Hiers). He authorized me for use of the Jeep for 4 additional days. Three or four days later I spoke with Jim Moran the Shop Foreman and he was able to authorize another day's use of the Jeep. I didn't know how long they were going to be able to let me keep the loaner so I maintained a reservation at Enterprise Rental car. Every time the Jeep was approved for me for more days, I would move the Enterprise reservation to the next Jeep surrender date. I understood that there was no guarantee that the Jeep loaner would be available for the entire 2.5 weeks. The paint shop actually delivered the car back to Boniface-Hiers in 1 week and 5 days. On a Saturday I returned the Jeep with a full tank of gas and clean inside and out. In return I received my 2014 Dodge Avenger. Mike and his staff at Therber Collision Center did an excellent job with the metallic red paint. The car is beautiful ! It has more luster and depth now than before and the clear coat problem is gone ! BTW, Mike had offered me the choice of repainting the bumpers front & rear at an additional cost to me. The bumpers didn't have clear cost problems & were not covered under the warranty repaint. However the front bumper had some love bug damage and a scratch. I decided to accept his offer and I'm glad I did because the car looks fantastic ! In summary Boniface-Hiers Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Merritt Island and their subcontractor body shop Therber Collision Center off of Grissom Parkway in Cocoa provided me with excellent service. More

After writing about my wife's and I horrible experience with Gator Dodge in Melbourne, FL, I was contacted by Boniface Hiers Salesmen Eric on Messenge After writing about my wife's and I horrible experience with Gator Dodge in Melbourne, FL, I was contacted by Boniface Hiers Salesmen Eric on Messenger apologizing for our bad experience with a fellow Dodge dealership and asked if I was still in market for a new vehicle. We talked about my wife and I horrible experience with Gator and having small talk back and fourth through Messenger about what I was looking for. Eric was very helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful throughout our conversation. Not once was I under the impression like you typically would from a dealership to be forced to come by or forced to buy a vehicle. With my schedule being so hectic, Eric was very patient and throughout the week he was able to work numbers through Messenger giving me a fair price for my trade in, negotiate the price of the truck I wanted, and was able to save my truck and have all my paperwork ready two days later once I was able to make time to leave work early to drive an hour over to Merritt Island to visit him. Once I showed up, right away Eric and I went to my brand new RAM 1500 Laramie. He went over all the features inside and outside. I was very impressed that Eric knew that truck inside and out and was able to answer all my questions and then some. Once we came back from the test drive, I removed all my belongs from my trade in and placed them in my new truck and once done, Eric escorted me over to the finance manager Brian. Brian too was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail about my warranty and protection. Once again I did not feel pressured. I was in and out of the dealership in maybe 1.5 hours from the minute I walked into the door to the time I left the dealership. I was very impressed with the great customer service, salesman knowledge of the vehicles, friendly staff, and overall stress free experience, it was worth the hour drive and in the end I left happy with an awesome truck. Just to show the compassion Eric had, he contacted me a day late to ask how I was enjoying the truck and recommended some great products to take care of my truck. Thank you again, when my wife is back in the market for a new vehicle, we will be back! More
