I was in the market for an SUV, but had never driven one so I went to Bonnell to test drive an Escape. My sister, neice and I looked around (it was a busy day) after a few minutes Steve approach to see if so I went to Bonnell to test drive an Escape. Very personable and friendly, he answered our questions and let me take out one for a drive. I loved it! Loved the color; loved the way it handled etc. so I purchased it. When I came back to drive off with my new SUV, Steve familiarized me with all the options and features of my new vehicle. He hooked up my phone to blu-tooth (very important seeing I'm terribly technology challenged. Steve took all the time in the world to go over all the features. I was so comfortable and confident when I left that I drove all over Winchester, Arlington, Lexington then home to Waltham. I am very happy!! More
Service is always great. Only concern I had this time was I had a 4 year warranty so I was surprised I had to pay, (deductible of $100). When I first arrived, there was ample time for me to look around and see the vehicles for myself without any pressure. I was using my sons car and had a starting problem with it. I had to be Washington on Sunday so it left me little time to deal with getting it fixed. I went to Bonnell Ford after 9 on a Saturday morning. T it. I had to be Washington on Sunday so it left me little time to deal with getting it fixed. I went to Bonnell Ford after 9 on a Saturday morning. They quickly diagnosed the problem but did not have the starter in stock. Jeff sent a person into Boston for a new starter and had the car fixed by noon. Most dealers would not even do this type of work on a Saturday but Jeff Bonnell went out of his way to help me out. Very thankfull for great service. More
When in for a brake service on my 1998 Mercury and an inspection sticker and was told that in order to get an inspection sticker I needed 2500 dollars of work on the front end. When I mentioned to them t inspection sticker and was told that in order to get an inspection sticker I needed 2500 dollars of work on the front end. When I mentioned to them that 1 month before when I visited them for an oil change the mechanic told me that my front end was just fine on my car with just 58000 miles driven. I had to negotiate the price and in order to get the inspection sticker had to have work done for 1200 dollars on the front end. Lesson learned never buy a car from a dealer with mediocre service department. More
