I currenrtly own ten (10) GM vehicles and have personally owned and purchased (11)eleven additoinal GM vehicles ever since I purchased my first GM vehicle back in 1956 (a Chevy convertible). Having had this personal experience with various GM delerships, I believe I am fairly well qualified to make the following assertion: Borcherding GMC is probably the best overall customer oriented delearship that I have seen; and I attribute their current success to a large degree to their Service Manager, Mr. Matt Volrath. And, I believe that the GM corporate success is due in large part to these unsung "heros" like Mr Vollrath who deliver the ultimate auto experience to the customer, particularly the service after the sale. I know for me personally, it is Mr. Vollrath who will cause me to come back to Borcherding dealership as a repeat customer; and that it is Mr Vollrath who is responsible for my continued loyaly to GM products. Mr. Vollrath is the kind of employee that not only Borcherding can be proud of , but the GM Corporation as well, as it is people like him that will guarantee the future success of the Corporation itself. GM has many great employees, but Mr Vollrath has distinguished himself as one of the best; and I hope that Borcherding, and GM, recognize this outstanding individual for his excellence. They always keep me informed of the service progress and do not try to perform services that are not necessary. We were on our way out of town and had an engine service light come on. So we stopped by to see if we could get service without an appointment. Not a problem.
