They took care of me from the moment I walked in the door. They were able to tell me everything that was needed for my truck to be in top shape. They lent me a car so they could finish my vehicle in tim door. They were able to tell me everything that was needed for my truck to be in top shape. I bought a 2024 Chevy Trax brand new off the showroom floor with 74 miles on it on June 18th 2024. It was my first new car ever. I’ve keep the maintenance and oil changes current and up to date. I’m now floor with 74 miles on it on June 18th 2024. It was my first new car ever. I’ve keep the maintenance and oil changes current and up to date. I’m now one and a half years into owning it and the check engine light came on and the app said there’s engine or transmission trouble so I schedule an appointment at the dealership I purchased the car from. When I arrived I was told by the service desk woman Samantha McCloud that there was trouble with a solenoid. After waiting for the official word on what was wrong she informed me that my car had less than a quart of oil in it and that my service record showed that there was a gap when it looked like I didn’t get an oil change between the first one with them and the one I just had done by them in October. I informed her that I took the car to a Valvoline instant oil change place for the second one and that the car was current, infact I just took it to them at the dealership less than 3 months prior in October to have my 3rd and most recent oil change. So the fact that the car had no oil in it was suspicious but I was made to feel like the problem was my fault for not taking it there to have them do it. Ultimately they gave me another oil change and tire rotation on tires I just bought a month ago and was charged almost 300 dollars for nothing. Why did I have to pay all of that when the car is under warranty and I just had an oil change done at that place less than 3 months ago? I was told by Samantha that an oil consumption test needed to be done and that I would need to return to them after I drove another 2000 miles to see if the oil drain is “normal”. I don’t see how a brand new car should be draining all of its oil after less than 3 months and that being considered “normal”. This is not the first issue I had with this dealership either. The very first oil change they did on the car they also did a tire rotation and forgot to reset the tires so all the pressure readings on the infotainment center were off. Their work is awful and seems rushed. They seem as if they are out to make you feel like any problem is your fault despite the car being under warranty. I will not be taking it back there I will find a dealership closer to me. They are dishonest and untrustworthy. More
