On August 21, 2013. I was traveling back to Tennessee from visiting Michigan when I had a front wheel bearing fail on my 2002 Ford Ranger. After being towed to a nearby Ford dealership, I was told they from visiting Michigan when I had a front wheel bearing fail on my 2002 Ford Ranger. After being towed to a nearby Ford dealership, I was told they couldn't (wouldn't) help me. The tow driver then took to Bowling Green Lincoln and the service adviser meet me at the truck , assessed the problem and had me in the shop in under 5 minutes. They showed me the problem, found used parts (they had to drive about 60+mi to pick them up), quoted me a price I thought was fair. They had me out the door in about 4 hours which was an hour and a half faster then they quoted to start with. The entire staff of this dealership made me feel welcome. If I were to ever consider buying a Lincoln I would consider the thought of driving 6+hours to this dealership. Everyone from the service tech to the service advisers (all of them), the office girl, salespeople, sales manager and even other customers made my untimely visit a pleasure. Kudos to this dealership, they do things right. More
Never again! Made an appointment to test drive a Never again! Made an appointment to test drive a Lincoln that was stated to be in exceptional condition. When i arrived for the appointment i was Never again! Made an appointment to test drive a Lincoln that was stated to be in exceptional condition. When i arrived for the appointment i was told i could not drive it and somehow the keys were "not available". I was taken in a vehicle to the rear of the lot and sat in the cold vehicle for several minutes before finding out that a walk around was all i could do after driving twenty miles to the dealership. The price quoted to me over the phone was several thousand dollars more than book value and fell in line with the description being nearly perfect, this is what i found after viewing the drivers side and front only. The vehicle has a number of unusual scratches in the paint, chips around the door, the drivers door hinges are worn out as the door was out of line with the quarter panel otherwise it may have been in a wreck. The front lower grille was caved in and had several damaged spots that will require body shop work or replacement. The drivers seat was dry from sun exposure as a very high number of unusually dark creases were notable even through the closed window. Overall the vehicle would be worth half of the asking price in this condition. I wasted no more time looking at the other half of the vehicle and of course could not view the engine compartment. I was told the vehicle needed to go through safety inspections had been listed on the internet too soon and I was invited to once again return to the dealer in a few days if i wanted to drive the car. I have seen a large number of vehicles recently and other dealers have given quite accurate descriptions along with fair prices and keep appointments as well. Beware of Fraud at this Dealership and invest your time elsewhere. More
