I brought my 2020 BMW X5 M5.0i in for oil service. The process went well and I picked up my car the following day. Unfortunately, with 50 miles of driving the car after the service, the next morning the process went well and I picked up my car the following day. Unfortunately, with 50 miles of driving the car after the service, the next morning the oil plug came lose on the Palmetto Expressway and all the oil drained out of my car. I understand mistake but what is really disappointing is that the service dept. tried to hide and lie about what the source of the problem was. I personally watched the oil drain out of my car as I was flagged by a driver on the road that my car was smoking and luckily turned the car off before the oil leaked out. The service manager and agent did a very good job under the circumstances but I expect a lot more from the service department and a state of the art facility. i would like to understand how this could happen and what Brahman will do to prevent this from happening in the future. my car was under warranty and it got all the parts that it needed at no cost. My only issue is that I took my car 4 times, and every time it stayed there the entire week.
