In the past, I was used to talking to the salesperson, and after every small discussion, the salesperson would run off to the managers office then come back with another proposal. At Kenny Ross of Moon, the manager actually came out and sat down with me and the salesperson, and worked out a deal that was good for all of us. I am impressed with this operation, and look forward to working with them in the future! More
Henry was my salesman and he could not have been more wonderful. He understood my price point and my interest and did all he could to get me a great deal. We were shopping for a car. We wanted to check out three different makes. Kenny Ross was the first place we stopped. The employees were very friendly and more than willing to show their inventory. They explained the features of the various models of the Toyota. They were capable in answering our questions and accommodating in our requests. Without any further shopping we bought the car! I wanted a new car, and I knew wanted to stay with Toyota because I love and trust the service guys. Thankfully, I was able to get a new Sienna. We bought a Scion xB 6 years ago from them and have been with because I love and trust the service guys. Thankfully, I was able to get a new Sienna. Overall we had a very pleasant car buying experience at Kenny Ross Toyota Scion. We started out by making a bid online. We wanted to use this approach as the two previous times that we went shopping for used cars at other dealers, we were treated in such a way that the experience was just not enjoyable. There was a tremendous amount of pressure put on us to buy a car. We started out making a bid online and immediately received an e-mail confirmation that our bid was received and that Steve Bannon would soon make contact. Within just a few hours we had received a call from Steve following up on the bid. When Steve and I spoke, I was very upfront about not wanting to be pressured to buy a car. I explained that if he took that approach there was no way we'd be buying a car from him. Steve was completely understanding of our wishes. The first car we bid on was a little out of our price range. Ultimately, Steve and I discussed three different vehicles and Steve was committed to patiently waiting to find us the vehicle we wanted. That same night Steve was able to locate a vehicle with our exact specifications and began making arrangements to get the vehicle to the Moon location so that we could go and take a look. The negotiations were fairly painless. We paid only slightly more than we wanted, but ended up getting many more features on the vehicle than we expected (i.e., moon roof and remote starter) so it worked out. Steve remained light and humorous throughout the negotiations and never pressured us. After making the "deal" Steve followed through with all promises made (i.e., full detail, certified used inspection, and finding a second set of keys). We would absolutely recommend Kenny Ross Toyota Scion and Steve to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. More
I was looking for a Certified Prius and located this dealer via cars.com. As my home is about 70 miles from the Dealership I asked for good information on the vehicle as we did not have the time or pati dealer via cars.com. I spoke with Henry Czaikowski who was helpful. As we would not purchase sight unseen we drove down on a friday afternoon to see "the car." As it was raining heavily when we arrived Henry was kind enough to pull the vehicle inside and allow us to look at the car in the service area. He also went over the features and any questions we had. Still I needed time to think about it....and decided a few days later to get serious about dealing for the car. I revisited and spoke with Henry and Eric Saloom-Sales Manager.Both were pleasant to deal with and I did not feel overly pressured to buy the vehicle. My mind was still not made up and a day later my decision was to purchase the vehicle and I spoke by phone to Henry & Eric. It was decided that I would return in a day to complete the transition. My vehicle was washed and ready to go upon my arrival. I expected to spend about an hour doing finance paperwork and that is about how long it took. There are some details yet to be worked out as I purchased from out of state and if everything goes as smoothly as buying the car I will continue to be pleased. Can't rate the quality of the work as it has not been car back for service. When ready to purchase a new or used vehicle I will definately will give this dealership an opportunity to have my business. More
My Mother, aged 83, decided she wanted a new car and asked for my assistance. I used the internet to contact three (3) Toyota dealers in the area. It was through my e-mails that I began communicating with Steve Bannon at Kenny Ross. Kenny Ross' price easliy beat the pricing from the other two dealers, and Steve was very professional. We aranged the sale of the new Corolla, and coordinated a pickup date/time. Since I live out of town, I was unable to take my Mother to the dealership, but Steve offered to pick her up and bring her to Kenny Ross. When my Mother arrived at Kenny Ross, her new car was washed, waxed and sitting in front of the building. I was worried that the finance department [who work on commission] would high pressure sell my Mother into buying one of the many "extra" packages [lifetime oil changes, extended warranty, tire protection, etc.]. I told Mr. Bannon in advance that I was puting my Mother in his hands and didn't want her to deal with that type of pressure. Steve Bannon lived up to his promise, the sale of the car and the paperwork went smoothly. Then he and my Mother out for a test drive, and he took the time to explain every button on the dashboard. Steve also introduced her to everyone at the dealership, including the maintenance department [who were also very friendly]. Overall this was a great experience, and I highly recommend Kenny Ross Toyota to anyone looking for a new car. I further suggest you get things started by contacting Steve Bannon via the internet. I bought a 2011 Toyota Tundra at the end of Febuary 2011, Tom and Sam were great.They were low pressure and I got the best price compared to two other Toyota Dealer in the area.
