BEWARE of the service Dept. I'm so upset, took my 2014 Honda Accord sport for its 2nd oil change. My car had less than 10,000 miles on it. It looked and drove like new. They gave me a list of services I needed, a/c filter and flushing, wipers and tire rotation/balancing for $126.00. I took the wipers. Shortly after I left, I noticed my car was not handling the same, it was pulling when I braked and every groove in the road my steering wheel pulled in both directions, I assumed they did something to my alignment, I've already had bad experiences with them so I wasn't surprised. I got on the Dolphin expy entrance ramp during traffic hours going no more than 25 mph and lost control of my car, I spun out, luckily, everyone was able to get out of my way, but it could have been serious, I could have killed somebody. now I knew it was more serious so I went directly to tire kingdom for a tire check up and rotation. They told me that they could not legally do that to bald tires, WHAT, that's impossible. My car has less than 10,000 miles,!! When he checked the mileage and year of my car he told me I should bring my car back to the dealership to have them explain to me how my good tires and rims suddenly were bald and scratched.. Not only did I leave with 4 bald tires, I also got 4 extremely. scratched up rims. Those aren't my tires or my rims. No wonder it took more than 4 hours for an oil change, I got there at 7am before anyone else and still took all morning. Called Honda corporation and they basically said it was my word against theirs and they said my tires got worn out because I did not rotate. They saw a woman and thought they could get away with it. They did, my 3rd Honda, 2nd one bought there. Never at Brickell Honda and never a Honda again. xxxxxxxx More

After researching for about two weeks with other dealerships, KBB, Edmunds, IIHP and cars.com I was ready to buy a car today. I decided with the sales price and other competing quotes Brickel Motors made the most sense for me. Within five minutes of being on the lot I was greeted by Renner. I walked him over to the car I wanted and he let me test drive it right away. Like I said, I wanted to purchase a car today so I did not want to waste time. We sat down and immediately talked numbers. I told him my dream price and he spoke to the manager Ignacio. The answer was no but you never know until you ask..So I dropped the big bomb: I will write a check on the spot for the lowest price they can offer including taxes, fees, etc. to walk out with the car, as long as they meet my top. After back and forth and then speaking directly with Ignacio he gave me a price. Although it was $800 over my max, I understood they needed to make money too, so me and Renner shook on it. I asked both Renner and Ignacio if the price quoted was the exact figure I would write my check out for. They responded each time with yes. AFTER writing the check from my Military credit union and finishing up on the phone with the insurance company setting up my policy (I had just given the agent my credit card info) Ignacio came back and said he misquoted me by 2k dollars!! As he was scribbling out the number we agreed to (I managed to take pictures of the pricing quotes with all the writing on it) he asked me if I "have a personal check or is it from a lending institution?" Wait.. What does it matter? It's treated as cash and neither has any bearing on the final price of the car. My check happened to have stamped in big letters "do not exceed $___ amount" which was a higher amount then what the figure was that we agreed to. It just seemed very convenient that as soon as they noticed my check (they say they did not but I set it down on the desk in clear view) the agreed upon price was now incorrect. I know it may be a shock but though I am a young woman I do understand the basic concept of a verbal agreement and know that bad business practices are just that. NO excuses. I understand I could be the only person who had a bad encounter with Brickell Motors but I felt this situation warrants an honest review. My father later called the owner and although he was extremely apologetic he still quoted UP from the price I was given by $321. So apparently for Ignacio not being able to calculate numbers correctly though he had 30 minutes to do so, I have to now exceed my limit by $1,121. It's sad to know they have just solidified the "dishonest car salesman" stigma. I have already told some of my military friends/ family and clients, and tomorrow I will be letting the bank and all other military installations know of the deceptive tactics I have unfortunately encountered today. Recap: 1. The free iPad Air is for new car buyers!! (that pay full price on the car)<---nowhere on the website does it say that. 2. Regardless if you get it in writing, shake on it, ask them to reiterate a handful of times AND write a check, they can go back on their deal. 3. Screenshot any and all prices on the website: The exact car I wanted had a different MSRP and sales price listed that they said were both incorrect. My screenshot is what saved me. 4. I was actually thinking about going to a dealership closer to me, but Darien, their True Car rep. reached out to me within a few minutes of me securing my true car price and ensured me that I would get that price and set up an appointment for me the next day. So the experience started before I even got to the location. When I got there, they had someone park the car I came in for me, and immediately offered coffee and comfortable seating. Marlene was the salesperson who took care of me and she went above and beyond to make sure i was happy with the car I'd chosen, made me feel comfortable in getting the price I had come prepared for, and gave me a bit of financing advice to lower my monthly payments. Next up was the Finance manager Lazaro, who was very genial, and understood that we were working with a tight budget. Overall, I left very satisfied with my purchase, and looking forward to a positive relationship with the dealership going forward. More

Izzy Molina took care of me so fast, I didn't even get the chance to sit down and get comfortable! Gave me a free oil change too! Don't know why they get bad reviews. Anyway, my bill came out to around 150 or so which is reasonable but to make things even better, he asked their funny, sassy cashier (which is scary, in a good way, because the cashier they had a few months ago was a total b****. I guess the service manager finally realized that and got someone who actually has a fun personality) to give me a 10% off! Loved Izzy, loved the work done to my car (working perfectly!!!) and I loved the cashier and the work environment! Keep up the awesome work! Will definitely come back and recommend all my Honda drivers to get their cars serviced here! More

Irresponsible Finance Department When I initially purchased my car, the salesperson (Danny) was very helpful and courteous. Even though the car's gas tank was almost empty when I drove it off the lot, the manager told me they would fill up my gas tank when I took it back for the first oil change. At the time of the first oil change, they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about, and I had to argue with them in order to get a simple tank of gas that was rightfully mine. Secondly, I paid my car loan off after 2 and a half years and up until that point there had been no other mishaps with Brickell Honda. After paying off my car, I received a letter in the mail from Honda Financial Services stating that I was entitled to a refund for the unused portion of my GAP insurance (approximately 2 and a half years). At this point I went to my dealer (Brickell Honda) and filled out a GAP Cancellation Form, which the dealer never sent to Honda Financial Services, and therefore was never processed. I called back every 2 weeks and even showed up there in two different occasions to ask about the status and they would tell me not to worry about it that it was in the mail. After nearly 6 months, I decided to contact Honda Financial Services directly and I found out Brickell Honda had never made contact with them and they had not submitted my claim. Because of that, I lost a portion of my GAP insurance. The person at Honda Financial Services even said "Yeah, Brickell Honda dropped the ball, again." This is unacceptable and the reason for my review. More
