Horrible service This is the most unprofessional group of service writers and management I have ever had the dis-privilege to deal with. I had recall work to be done This is the most unprofessional group of service writers and management I have ever had the dis-privilege to deal with. I had recall work to be done on a vehicle, I got my e-mail confirming the type of work to be done, the date the work was scheduled to be done, and a cheerful "we look forward to seeing you" note from the department of service manager Troy Willis. So the day before the service appointment I contacted the parts department to confirm the parts would be ready for the recall work as scheduled. Then I talked directly to the service writer assigned to my service Cody Collins. I was assured that everything was ready to go and all would be taken care of. Day of service: The vehicle is taken to the dealership and we are told that there is no record of a service reservation, the parts are not there and Cody Collins is no were to be found. This is the second time I have had to deal with Mr. Collins and believe me if you get his as a service writer you will want to request someone else! Never again will we do business with these people. This was not our first service problem here , there are 2 more instances of poor after sale service that I do not have the time to go into detail about. Save yourself the headache and find a better Ford dealership to buy your vehicle from that has an outstanding service department, Brighton Ford in Brighton MI is not that place. I gave them 1 star because the sight wouldn't allow me to rate them zero stars More

The Gold Standard for Customer Service I am compelled to write a review of Troy Hill at Brighton Ford. My wife and I came in late on a Saturday to look at a car. We were so blown away by hi I am compelled to write a review of Troy Hill at Brighton Ford. My wife and I came in late on a Saturday to look at a car. We were so blown away by him that we knew there was no reason to shop anywhere else. Oddly enough, we had a car buying experience there a few years earlier (with a salesman that is no longer with them) that has been my example of the epitome of the stereotypical rude, condescending car salesman. It was so God awful I swore I would never go back. Fast forward a few years and it just so happened that they were open later than the other Ford dealer in town so my wife and I thought we'd just look around and then go talk to the other dealer later in the week. Man were we wrong. Troy was so nice and so accommodating that we knew we had found the Consultant we wanted to work with. He was honest and worked for us. That is all I ever want in a buying experience. He was amazing. We got a car my wife can't stop raving about (2014 Edge) and we walked away with a level of trust that is priceless. When all was said and done, I stopped back in to tell Troy that my job is a trainer in the automotive marketplace in sales and customer service, and he is going to be the example I use going forward. Thank Troy Hill for your amazing service and the outstanding job you did. Your efforts and character were noted and appreciated by my wife and I. We've already given your name and recommendation to multiple neighbors. We look forward to coming in relatively soon for my new car. More
Great experience getting my new-to-me Mercury Treated well, helped me with the trade, got it fit my budget without too long a term, pleasant experience. Won't honor ext warranty they sold me I purchased a 72mon/125k mile extended warranty for a used vehicle in 2011. My signed contract says it expires is 9/2017 however Brighton Ford says it I purchased a 72mon/125k mile extended warranty for a used vehicle in 2011. My signed contract says it expires is 9/2017 however Brighton Ford says it doesn't matter what my signed contract says, they say their records are correct and wouldn't honor the extended warranty. Bought a used vehicle, the salesman assured me they had the best mechanics check out their used vehicles before they put them on the lot. The vehicle I purchased had a couple problems i noticed off the bat that they promised to fix for me. Days after buying the car I took it back to them for the work they promised to fix (clunking sound in tire, rear park assist maintenance needed, steering wheel was shaky), they had it for two weeks! Never called me for an update, the salesman nor the manager would ever call me back. Got my vehicle back two weeks later, nothing was fixed but they put new tires on it for me....OK? That wasn't even an issue, oh and I filled the vehicle up with gas on my way to drop it off to them I gave it to them and received it back with about quarter tank hmmm...took it to another dealership because I purchased the Ford extended warranty plan. They came up with over $5,000 in repairs, I've only had this vehicle three months at this point. Not only that but extended warranty wouldn't even cover my rear transfer case leaking because they spoke with the manager at Brighton Ford who told them this was a pre-existing issue....THEY NEVER MENTIONED THAT TO ME! And they still won't return my calls at Brighton Ford...shady shady company with shady people working their...specifically Manager George Haas...Horrible service, horrible management...once they get your signature you become just another number to them More

The real reason is that the guaranteed loan I came with did not allow for inflated pricing and had to be Blue Book or NADA. The salesman tried to wrangle extra money above the $300 requirement from the loan company, to make up for the loan, and even "Demanded" I come up with a trade. The fraud part is that he had us there for 4 hours and telling us he was waiting to hear back for my loan company. When I got feed up I called them on my cell only to find he had never called them at all. I handed the phone to him and he said: "I.'I..'I'm sorry I though for sure the fiance manger had called them" really..what a crock. Bottom line they left a bad taste in my mouth and no more Ford dealers for me, just on principle More
George Hawes is unprofessional I called to tell them I was sold a lemon. It has been in for repair multiple times, still in now and they can't even tell me when it will be fixed. First and last ford I will ever buy...GM...all vehicles now recalled ...and everyone still screaming buy American. When the big 3 can produce a quality vehicle and treat customers with respect even AFTER the sale is done...maybe then they will see a turnaround.
