I am not very happy with Buckahnnon Toyota. I went in for drivers airbag recall. They took a picture of the coil and told me I nerded the part and it would be in in 2-3 days. When I called the day before to confirm my appointment the service department hads to check with the parts department and the part was not in. They dont know when the part will be in and told me if the warning light comes on drive it immediatley to the dealership. I don't have alternative transport and not sure what to do if this happends when I'm driving to the airport. This si the 2nd problem Ive had with this vehicle and Ive only ahd it 6 months. More

BUYER BEWARE! This dealer is a bait and switch operation. I recently offered to buy a vehicle for the listed asking price. I was then told that I would be required to finance the vehicle and that I could not pay cash with a cashiers check from a bank. The only way that this dealership would sell me a car is if I financed it which costs thousands more in fees and interest. When I asked them why, I was told “that is the only way that the owner of the dealership wants to sell.” When I called Toyota Financial, I was told by them that dealers not allowed to force buyers to finance if they don’t want to. Please be aware if you are considering Buckhannon Toyota. They don’t play by the rules, and that they will find ways to rip you off with their bait and switch tactics. More

Sales department isn’t bad ! The maintenance department on the other hand is absolutely horrible at Buckhannon Toyota. We purchased a brand new Toyota hybrid highlander in Febru The maintenance department on the other hand is absolutely horrible at Buckhannon Toyota. We purchased a brand new Toyota hybrid highlander in February, it’s been serviced by them 3 times since we purchased it. Yesterday while getting an oil change done by their technicians, they came out and told my wife that the wiring harness for the batteries was damaged . Due to her hitting something and the lid being broke off. And it would cost us 3000$ to fix . It would not be covered under any warranty and it may be covered under our insurance possibly “ since she had to of hit something “ . With that being said they told her her car was unsafe to drive and would catch fire . All in front of our young kids . At which point she called me on the phone and informed me of all this plus they’d told her also that with it being a hybrid rlthat they’re not to be drove on gravel or dirt roads . We live 2 miles up a gravel road . I told her to leave the dealership and we’d have it looked at at Dan cavas Toyota in fairmont . Which we did this morning first thing . Come to find out good old buckhannon Toyota was totally wrong . The haven’t put the lid on the wiring harness box for 2 years now and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the harness. We called them to try and see if they could explain why they wanted 3000$ dollars yesterday to fix the “ problem “ and now they’re saying that’s not what they said . I wouldn’t take a wheel borrow to them to fix. To top it off this is the second time in 20 years I’ve had a very bad experience with the maintenance department there . The first time the manager of the department told me there was nothing wrong with my truck and the frame was broke clear into. If all Toyota garages on the eastern half of the us closed except buckhannon Toyota , I guess I’d drive to California to get one More
