My wife saw a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado at a tent sale the Santa Paula Chevrolet was putting on and told me about it. The next day I saw the truck and contacted Izzy Vargas, Internet Sales Specialist. She determined, along with the mechanic staff that there was a need to replace the heads of the L5 engine due to valve seat problems.The vehicle was repaired and runs great. He assured us he'd be straight with us and my situation and would give full explanation of everything. We showed up the following day and he did what he promised. Last year I accompanied a friend to Santa Paula Chevrolet to purchase a truck for himself. The salesman was a really cool guy named Izzy and we had a few laughs that day. In fact it was such a good experience that I bought a truck too. That sounds like some BS but its true…if it wasn’t for Izzy, I would still be driving my old car. A few weeks ago my 19-year old son decided it was time to buy his first new car. He was out test driving all the Japanese sports cars and the GTI. Izzy called me last week with a routine follow-up to make sure his dealership was still taking good care of me. I told him the cars my son was test driving and he suggested a 2013 Camaro. The test drive was all it took to cement the decision to go Chevy. The deal was as smooth as glass and a great shopping experience for my son. He probably thinks they all go this well but those of us who have been around for some years know that’s not always the case. The truth is at Santa Paula Chevrolet you don’t really need to bring your negotiation hat. You could just bring a magazine or a lawn chair. These people will take great care of you and you will get a better deal than if you tried to negotiate one yourself.
