Poor communication, the dealership wanted to rob me of a large amount of money without any quotes for what could need repaired. Also left out that the timing chain on my vehicle needed replaced. Which the codes themselves could tell me but for some reason the dealership was unable to communicate that issue. They instead wanted $630 to just inspect not even repair. It would've been another bill with another price more than likely well exceeding the inspection cost and if I couldn't afford the more costly repairs I would still be out $630 without a solution to my problem. Not to mention the dealership couldn't find out what was wrong with my vehicle and said it was perfectly fine other than a power steering fluid level. I myself had to come into the dealership on a Saturday and take my own vehicle for a drive and bring it back not even 15 minutes later with the engines malfunction audible. Which makes me question how 'I' a not certified technician can take the time and effort to drive it long enough to have the engine warm up to operating temperature and start the noise. It seems the techs aren't given enough time to make a proper diagnosis or they just didn't care to try and make a proper diagnosis. Either way I'll be taking my vehicle elsewhere for future repairs and maintenance because even the certified dealer that SPECIALIZES in my specific manufacturer was unable to diagnose an issue without assistance and without working out quotes. More
