I started with an internet search to see the Honda Civi We have purchased 5 Honda's from this dealership and this was by far our best experience yet. I started with an internet search to see the Honda Civics Colonial Honda had available. I did an internet chat with Steve Barber. We chatted about what I was looking for and why and he said he would get back with me. Sure enough, in about 20 minutes he called and we discussed my options. We corresponded several times during the week and set a time to meet this past Saturday to look at the car. When we arrived, he had the two vehicles we had narrowed it down to pulled up right in front of the dealership. We drove one and had the deal made all within 30 minutes! Of course we did have wait a little while for the business office, which I expected, but someone from Colonial Honda was constantly checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Once we got to the business office with Paul King, Finance Director, things moved quickly and we were off in our new Honda Civic in no time. It was the best car buying experience ever!! Changing my mind on the Dealership Experience I had recently purchased a 2009 Honda Civic on February 1, 2015; I was recommended to speak with Bill Stone by a friend who spoke very highly of I had recently purchased a 2009 Honda Civic on February 1, 2015; I was recommended to speak with Bill Stone by a friend who spoke very highly of his experience with Bill and Colonial Honda. Although my previous experiences at dealerships have been average to say the least; I was very hesitant to go to any other dealer, however after browsing the Colonial Honda used car selection online I decided to give it a try. Within seven days we had to take the 2009 Honda Civic back to Colonial Honda to get some trim parts ordered and while on the phone we asked Bill about a 2007 Mustang GT/CS on a neighboring lot, needless to say I knew that after my experience with Bill and Scott the bar was set and I knew I would not buy a vehicle unless it was through them. When we arrived the 2007 Mustang GT/CS was sitting on the Colonial Honda lot...I was shocked! Bill had went to the neighboring lot and got the car so I can look at it. Upon arrival we were greeted by staff; as well as the General Manager, with handshakes and delightful salutations...we felt very welcome; like royalty. During our conversation I mentioned to Bill that not many people come in to buy another car within 7 days; however this is a direct reflection of what I consider above exemplary customer service that Bill and Scott gave to me. Not only did they make my experience enjoyable they also gave me options that were in the best interests of my family and I. I look forward to a long relationship with Bill, Scott and with Colonial Honda. I hope that all my service needs are as smooth as my 2 car purchases from Colonial Honda. My wife and I have been buying cars from Colonial Honda and Gordon for 30 years and there is NO WHERE ELSE that I would go. Gordon is THE BEST to work with and the entire staff at Colonial Honda is head and shoulders above any car dealer in the Richmond Metropolitan area. My grandson is happier than ever. Dave is the reason we came back after checking with over 5 other dearlership. He let us shop, ask questions, assisted us when we needed it, set up a get to know ride, explained all the options and never asked us any leading questions or assumed we were going to buy a car. He treated us like family, let us shop around and when we came back to him he never pressured us in any way to buy anything and for that we really appreciated very much. We had bought new cars before so we had first hand experience buying a new car so buying again was not something we were looking forward to do because of all the sales pressure to buy; however, Dave Robinson made our purchase one we will remember and one my family and I wanted to share with readers so others could experience what we did. Could it get any better--yes believe it or not when we decided to buy the right vehicle for us it was then time to find a price we could afford and the best deal we could find. After finding one that fit my budget, my husband and I went to On Sunday Feburary 1, 2015, I was searching the Honda website for a pre-owned vehicle. After finding one that fit my budget, my husband and I went to Colonial Honda to test drive the vehicle we found. We had been refered to Bill Stone by a co-worker of my husband. Upon meeting with Bill Stone ,he showed us the car I was interested in ,which was a 2009 Honda Civic. After seeing and test driving the vehicle I knew that was the car for me. Bill was very knowledgeable about the car and answered all the questions we had. We were very pleased that we were able to buy and extended warranty but was surprised they gave us a $250 rebate for Super Bowl weekend. Colonial Honda also knocked off $800 ,the car had just been traded in and had not been cleaned up. We also bought the three for one plan and was very satisfied with the price we paid for that. Over all we had the best experience at Colonial Honda, the sale went smooth and was able to drive the car home that night. Bill told us to bring the car back , Monday the 2nd so it could be detailed. Upon talking with Bill ,they were going to keep the car so it could be cleaned and the protection coating could be put on it and we could pick it up on Tuesday the 3rd. He gave us a loaner vehicle so we would not be inconvenienced. That is wonderful service. We are very pleased with the service and Bill Stone at Colonial Honda. We will return for more business . More
