Excellent experience all around! I am an auto mechanic and my wife is a trainer at a local credit union...as such we were 'well armed' when it came time to buy our first new car. Valley was the second Subaru dealer we went to, and the one we ended up buying our Crosstrek from. Our salesman was Bill Yetzer, who found the car we were looking for in the pool of loaner / courtesy vehicles the dealer keeps on hand for people having their vehicle serviced at the dealership. Mr. Yetzer spent a great deal of time with us, answering questions with confidence, intelligence, and most importantly, honesty. He went above and beyond in his being sure that we were comfortable with the vehicle before we left, as well. An A+ to him. Our experience in the Finance Office went just as smoothly. Several of our family and friends have bought new vehicles recently, and all said their time in the finance office was awful, with paint fixes and extended warranties being offered and re-offered at lower and lower prices ad nauseum. Our time at Valley's Finance Office was entirely different. We went in, Kevin Hahne pitched these products very briefly and exactly one time each, we declined, and he moved on. We were in and out in ten minutes and no high-pressure tactics were employed. I can't say enough about how much of a relief that was. I told him at the time that everyone I knew would hear about that experience from me, as it was so far removed from what we expected. Following the sale, we received a single, short email from Bill Yetzer thanking us for our visit and requesting a sales review on this site. I do not normally review products or services, but our experience at Valley Subaru of Staunton was so much above and beyond our expectations that I am happy to oblige. I don't know if they receive notifications of when a review has been made, but if they do, I hope when they read this it will give them a feeling of 'job well done.' In closing, if you're anywhere near Staunton, VA and in search of a Subaru, do not hesitate to stop by and spend some time at Valley Subaru. More

As regards to the product which I purchased, i.e. the Subaru Outback, having purchased many vehicles over the years I can truly say that at this time I have never been more satisfied. It is simply one of the finest vehicles, in my opinion, on the road today. He answered my questions and was patient with me. Only a few minor complaints. I had set up an appointment to see a specific car and when I got there they told me that car was sold. They instead offered to sell me the car that they picked me up in (good sales technique) so I felt like they boxed me in a little bit. Also the sticker price on the car does not include the price plus taxes. But bottom line I needed a car and needed help with financing. They picked me up and got me through the whole process in an afternoon. I'm very pleased overall. More
