Advertises car online for 25,900 but then increases??? Stateline advertises a car for 25,900 on their website. My sales person is Amanda, I show the the car on my phone with the dealer ID#. Amanda walks around and show me cars that are similar. I ask for the car because I want to take it home. 10 minutes later here comes the car that must of been parking in field, its filthy. She is going to gas it up (when I left the car had 1/3 tank and I took it to car wash just so I could get a look at it). Friday night while waiting for car to be fueled Mark from finance wants to talk. I agree to let them run credit after a couple of questions how they determine APR. I already know what Im approved for through other banks. I complete app, no car, no Mark. I ask a guy behind the same desk how long to run it. He says his name is Jeff and is sales manager. I can see Mark in the bay talking to 3 other workers. Jeff says he can run it in no time at all. I ask rates since they do this everyday, if its even worth our time. He says we are aggressive and can get 2-4%. Jeff runs the report and jumps out of chair, says I can get anything! I ask the rate, Jeff says there wont be a no problem, he can call 50 banks! AND NOW.....the car appears. Amanda wanted me to come back at 4pm Saturday. Im back at 4, no Amanda and Mark in finance wants to start paperwork. I said I never got a rate from from Jeff. Mark says today he is the sales manager. I ask the rate? Mark ask how much do I want to spend a month....everything but the rate. I try to exchange the keys, he holds my keys hostage while rambling on again about everything but the rate. I take out my spare keys and grab his car keys too. He sees whats about to happen and make the key exchange. I walk out- Mark now says he needs my approval to call other banks for a bettor rate (which I thought was being done Friday and all day Saturday since its now 4pm). No call back Monday, when I called on Mon afternoon for Jeff the front desk transfers me to George. George wants to sale me a car I say I just need to be transferred, that I was already working on a car. George says he cant help me cause he doesnt know my name (?) and then hangs up on me! I call the front desk no response from Mark so I have to leave a messages for Jeff. By the way George, the desk didnt ask my name to do this. Tuesday no call back, I called just to leave a message with Jeff again. I also get a hold of Mark, who was my last resort. Mark ask If I want the car, I ask the rate? Mark says 3.5% without explanation from 2% to 3.5%. I said Ill used my bank. Mark says he is "tired" of being on phone and If I want the car to come in!!!! I was "in" 4 days ago, TWICE and leaving messages !!! Mark hangs up. Lol, is this happening? WENDSDAY no call back from Jeff. WENDSDAY afternoon I have another dealership try to get car from Stateline Dodge...... guess who called me WITH IN 15 minutes?......Jeff. Jeff NOW can call me back and wants to make a deal. I first questioned Jeff about customer service. I asked that George and Mark apologize. Jeff instantly agrees. Jeff is ready to deal. I said the rate was 3.5% from Mark NOT close to 2%? Jeff says 2.9%, I asked, do you need to call more banks because he originally said 2%? Jeff says that was all he could do and NOW not for 72 month term as well. I would of never agreed to run credit if this was the case. Which I had alot of specific question on how how rates and terms applied before I agreed to running my credit. Jeff wants the car ID# again cause he cant remember the car BUT he remembers in less than 15 minutes I wanted the car when another dealerships calls on it! I give the Stateline stock ID# and online priced at 25,900. Its the same car all along...........Jeff comes back and says car is 26,700!!!!!!! I said your website is 25,900. No response....... Buyer beware, first just dont even bother with finance. AND I guess the price was really never 25,900. They just want to get you in the door an talking. Hope you fall in love with it just to raise the price. More

Do not believe any of the promises they make in their ads. Whether they do it on purpose or not, the result is a classic "bait-and-switch." Contact the Better Business Bureau if you had a similar experience with this dealership.I copy and pasted this eval from another victim. Sounds like a pattern....tried to deal on a 4x4 Grand Cherokee. That 4x4 was ad on-line, we asked the salesman if it was a 4x4 "We don't have any 4x2 here". LItterally as we are signing the deal, the manager runs in and stops it because they dealt on a 4x2; then wanted $1,500 more for a 4x4.....BAIT AND SWITCH TEXTBOOK. Shame on you all. And funny thing, any other dealer you talk to, they will send you an on-line eval to do. Has been a week later and nothing to rate this dealer on. Who knows, they will probably erase this! WORST DEALERSHIP EVER I went to this Dealership looking for a vehicle they had advertised on their website.. a 'NEW' vehicle I had VIN # and all .. A Manager stated he would give me a GREAT deal on a 4WD vehicle even though I wanted a FWD and they couldn't locate it. He offered me sticker price - 2,500 rebate (STANDARD REBATE). I asked where is the DEAL ? The interaction with these people ended with the "manager" slamming a copy of a window sticker down and saying to me 'THERE IS YOUR VEHICLE" I asked where the vehicle was he would only say to me in a LOUD voice .. "MY SISTER DEALERSHIP" I again asked where is that.. same reply 'MY SISTER DEALERSHIP" at this point I was done I took the paper and said lets go. I had to ask the girl that started to help us for her car. NOBODY EVER GOT MY NAME OR MY PHONE NUMBER.. They are not salesman they are LIARS at this dealership. I went straight to another Dealership gave them the paper with "my vehicle" on it and who knew . Stateline Road, Kansas City MISSOURI has a Sister Dealership in GREAT BEND, KANSAS. I will NEVER go back to this Dealership and I will NEVER recommend anyone I know to go there. Worst experience I have ever had trying to purchase a new vehicle. More

We are unable to properly license our vehicle because they lost the title to the vehicle. I go to the dealership all the time and get he same bad service. It's always we will research it and call you back. Never get a call back. Now we have had to use the money set aside for sales tax to buy a used car to drive around. I would not recommend buying from this dealership unless you have extra money to blow on a nice new car lawn ornament. More
We went browsing for replacement vehicle, never expecting to purchase one today. We knew we wanted a 4WD Jeep, but were uncertain about exactly what we needed. Scott Wells, our sales manager, asked a good to purchase one today. We knew we wanted a 4WD Jeep, but were uncertain about exactly what we needed. Scott Wells, our sales manager, asked a good series of questions to sound our our needs and wants, and what our price range was. As this vehicle was to be the primary car for our 21 year old daughter, had focused on how she felt about the 2014 Jeep Patriot we were looking at. Scott had her do the test drive, saying that if she was unhappy with the vehicle, then it was not the vehicle for her or our family. She loved the test drive! Scott worked on getting her included in the financing, to help her establish her credit. Vince Williams in the finance office treated us all wonderfully, especially our daughter. When Scott finalized the paperwork, our daughter was the one that he went over the details of the vehicle with. This was fine with her stepdad and myself - it was great to see our daughter treated with courtesy and respect. She was so excited when she got the keys!! This was one of the easiest vehicle purchases we have ever made, and certainly the most pleasant. We look forward to a long relationship with Scott and the dealership, and hope to refer our friends. More
