Is this your dealership?

On or about April 27, 2026, I went to this dealership and entered into a vehicle purchase transaction. I was told I was being approved for financing and was instructed to provide a $4,500 down payment, which entered into a vehicle purchase transaction. I was told I was being approved for financing and was instructed to provide a $4,500 down payment, which I paid. After making that payment, the dealership allowed me to take the vehicle home under what I now understand was a conditional delivery / spot delivery agreement, meaning the sale was dependent on final financing approval. Within the next 3 to 4 days, I was contacted and informed that the financing was not approved. Because financing fell through, the dealership demanded the vehicle back, and I returned the vehicle immediately. At that point, the transaction was effectively canceled because the dealership could not secure financing, and they took the vehicle back into their possession. Despite the fact that the vehicle was returned and the contract was no longer valid, the dealership has refused to return my $4,500 down payment. They are still holding my money even though the deal did not go through and they have the car back. This has put me in a position where I have no vehicle and I am out thousands of dollars. This is not a misunderstanding or a delay — it appears to be intentional. They are essentially keeping my down payment even though the financing was denied and the contract was rescinded. I believe they are wrongfully withholding my funds and using the conditional delivery process to take money from customers without completing valid financing. I have made efforts to get my refund back, but they continue to stall, ignore, or avoid resolving it. At this point, I believe the dealership is unlawfully retaining my money, and I need legal assistance to force them to refund the full amount and hold them accountable for their conduct. More
