Then it went down hill from there..My service contact was Tenesha Jones #480 - was out to lunch when I arrived (1:25pm) my appt was at 1:30pm. Waited 10 minutes with no other contact from other customer service representatives (there were 4 others). Finally one young lady told me that Ms Jones was out to lunch. Around 2:00pm she came back from lunch n we finally proceeded with my service n she had difficulty with her computer to start my.process..I did inquire as to appropriate time frame on getting all this completed she stated 1 hour n half for the oil change n then 1 hour for a car wash. While waiting for my vehicle spoke to several persons who had been there since 8:30am.... I watched my service being completed which is nice to see, when it was completed I could no longer see my vehicle didn't know if it was being washed, I finally walked back to the service area waited outside finally around 3:10 Tenesha stated is was completed....I am making a suggestion to Mr Calavan if a customer service tech is out to lunch someone else should step in n help... Dropped off a 1-year old vehicle which had completed died and would not start due to electrical issues. Stated that we suspected an issue with the alternator given behavior. Service department said that it w and would not start due to electrical issues. Stated that we suspected an issue with the alternator given behavior. Service department said that it would take 2 weeks before they could run a diagnostic -- we escalated and the service manager said they would look at it in the next 4-5 days. No communication and a week goes by -- nothing. Then another week and then another week...radio silence. Meanwhile, since they have our car, had to take out a rental -- even though it was a warranty repair, because they hadn't run a diagnostic yet, they wouldn't cover the rental costs, so we had to pay for those out of pocket. Fast forward 87 days...yes, 87 days!! -- they decide to make their first proactive call out of the blue and inform us that the car was repaired and surprise! -- it was indeed an issue with the alternator (replaced it along with the battery). No apologies, no decency or consideration to call us at any point prior to let us know what was going on or had even started to look at it -- just acting like it was 100% normal for 3 months to go by, have no communication and me self-funding a rental for that same time frame. If this site would let me, I would rate this dealer with negative stars to warn people off. I actively advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Calavan Kia or getting one serviced there to avoid them like the plague. Total epic service failure of massive and unmitigated proportions. More

This review is based on a (failed) warranty service I received on a brand new 2021 Kia vehicle that was not purchased from here. I chose to have my vehicle serviced here due to the fact that they were th received on a brand new 2021 Kia vehicle that was not purchased from here. I chose to have my vehicle serviced here due to the fact that they were the only one that offered the earliest appointment availability out of all other Kia dealerships around Atlanta area, which I thought it would have saved me 2 weeks in wait time. And I was so wrong about this. 04/19/2021: initially came in for service with an appointment, I was told the wait time would be 3-4 hours for diagnosis. A little bit shock but ok. After all that wait time, they came back with a result (which was questionable) and they had to wait for parts to be ordered. 04/27/2021: parts came in, they reached out to me to set appointment for next day but I had to be out of town that week to I rescheduled it to be on 05/03 at 9am. Again, they quoted me that it would take 3-4 hours to install. 05/03/2021: came in at 8:55am for the 9am appointment, which was also the very 1st available appointment they offered. I patiently waited for 5 hours but no one gave me any update. I had to find the service advisor and at this time, he told me that they got the wrong parts and they were trying to fix it. About 30 minutes later, I took a walk around the facility and found out that they just pulled my car into the shop. I raised the concern with the service advisor again as I had spent over 5 hours at the place and I had to be somewhere else in the next 30 mins. He and the technician came back to me with apologies that they got the wrong parts and it would take them about 1-1.5 hours to install as they now got the correct parts. So if I came back the next day at 9am, they would work on my car the 1st thing in the morning and get me out of there in about 1-1.5 hours. Needless to say, I left and never returned for that follow up service as I was extremely pissed. Firstly, they had almost the whole week to check and verify whether they got the correct parts or not, they did not. Secondly, if it takes them 1-1.5 hours to install with correct parts, why did they quote me 3-4 hours wait time even though I booked the very 1st appointment in the morning? Also, did I mention that half the staffs here walked around & interacted with customers without mask? They had the "mask required" signs posted almost on every corner of the place, but half of their staffs did not even wear one, even some guys appeared to be managers. Some technicians who drove customer's cars in & out of the shop did not wear mask either. More
