Dissatisfied service Came in today due code p0106 MAP sensor. After Dia, we were told that this may have been triggered by dirty air filter (that was filthy) or the sensor Came in today due code p0106 MAP sensor. Missing tires!!!! I am so disappointed my tires had to be swapped at dealership no one else has touched my vehicle has been no where else. I bought brand new. only two tires swapped and you have to have a key to remove personally I think thy were there when I went in.. I noticed when I had a flat tire and tires were different, also had no spare the sales person failed to tell me about the mobility kit and no spare was in there., should have told me so I could bought a tire with my vehicle I am so disappointed . No Customer service Had appointment at 2:30 so I arrived at 2:30. After taking the person that came in after me went before me it took 30 minutes to just sign me in. While getting signed in the person in charge I guess proceed to tell the people who made an appointment that the appointment was for them not the customer. Then he compared the dealership to a doctor's office and said you make an appoint with a doctor but you have to wait 45 minutes to see the doctor. Then he said that's how it works here. All I need was an oil change, I was asked if I wanted a free car wash and I said yes. The customer service person brought out my fillers and asked if I wanted them changed at 3:34. I told him no then I sat there in the waiting over an hour and nothing. I went to my customer service person at 4:50 to ask what was taking so long. I was told that he would have to walk all the over to the other side to see about my car and he was very busy. After he finished what he was doing he would check on my car. I left the dealership at 5:15 with an oil change no car wash. Way to go Kia that was the worst service ever, almost 3 hours to do an oil change. More
Horrible Took my 2016 Kia Sorrento in for oil change, trim on driver's side passenger door pulled loose (2nd time) and air conditioner not blowing cold. Was told air was not working because a stone had went through the grill and hit the condenser. Seriously! The service department said it was not covered under warranty, go figure. She then said oh go call your insurance company, it may be covered. I talked with the service manager, he said we see this often. I was like if you see it often, why run a diagnostic on it. Why not look for the supposed hole, and take me for the 125.00 fee. Needless to say the service manager was rude. It's all about making a quick $ for them. Horrible experience Do not shop at this Kia dealership! When you take your car to the dealership for service the last thing you expect is to have shady service but that Do not shop at this Kia dealership! When you take your car to the dealership for service the last thing you expect is to have shady service but that exactly what you get from Thornton Rd Kia. I got a new transmission from them and less than a year but with 13,000 miles, I was told I had 2 bad sensors and I could pay only 2000 for a new transmission. Then to top it off he had a salesman call me about an hour later. Really, just 2000. Will I need to pay that every year? Do you think I would buy it from here? By the way I drive A 2012 Kia Optima with 71,000 miles on it. Shame on you Thorton Rd. Kia! More
