At the end they helped us leave as happy customers. Our sales guy Mike was great! He was very nice and not pushy like other salesmen. I told him exactly what we needed and our budget. The reason why I deducted one star is because of the manager named Matthew. He was was the typical sales manager we hate dealing with. When we were ready to make a deal I noticed there were added “options” fees for $1,377. This was for a $195 door edge guards, $195 nitrogen kit, $95 wheel locks, $495 window tints, $397 zaktek (paint protection). None of these were added to the car yet but they were going to make us pay to have it added. I told him we are on a very tight budget and these are add ons we did not need and will put us above our budget. He made it sound like we didn’t have an option and I told him he’s forcing us to put add ons we don’t want and his response was I’m not forcing you to buy the ‘car’. He also proceeded to say other dealerships do this and we told him the last car we bought from Earnhardt did not tack on fees like this and his response was to then go buy a car from them. He was very rude and unreasonable. Our conversation was not going anywhere so I immediately requested to speak to his manager. We met with Corey and he helped us get to where we needed with our budget. He listened to my concerns and he worked with us without making rude comments like Matthew did. If camelback ford wants customers to have a great experience I think they need to get rid of rude people like Matthew. I almost left after his comments and I think most people would have. More
