Service Department Misses the Mark The 2018 MKZ I purchased from Camelback Lincoln may be my favorite car ever. It is perfect for me! However, after experiencing the Camelback Lincoln The 2018 MKZ I purchased from Camelback Lincoln may be my favorite car ever. It is perfect for me! However, after experiencing the Camelback Lincoln service department on Friday, October 12, I will never return. First, the waiting area is quite outdated. This could be overlooked but it is also not being maintained. The coffee counter looked like it had been vandalized, the coffee machine looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long, long time, especially the clear bin the held the beans, and almost everything was out. Both powdered creamer and sugar were empty and no water bottles. Powdered creamer is awful, but the container being empty, the sugar being empty, and the fridge that probably is intended to hold bottled water being empty, tells me the customer coffee center is not being restocked or maintained properly. This is not acceptable for any dealership, much less Lincoln. My real beef was that I was charged over $100 to deodorize the AC on a brand new Lincoln in for its very first service. When I brought the car in I told the service writer there was a foul moldy odor coming from the AC, he told me it was a $109 service, and I did sign the service agreement, but I honestly did not expect to pay it. After all, this is a brand new Lincoln, barely weeks old, and the AC smells bad, so it should not be a customer responsibility, at least not the first time. My 2017 MKZ purchased from another Phoenix Lincoln dealer had the same issue and that dealer performed the same service without fee, so I was stunned that it was actually charged on this one. If a brand new Lincoln has foul smelling AC in the first few weeks on the road, that should not be the customer paying, and a different Phoenix dealer has no problem fixing it when they sell a new car. I told the cashier I did not want to pay for this service, but he insisted that I had agreed to the charge and Camelback had performed the service, so he refused to make any adjustment. I told him directly that I would pay the $109 but if I did, I would never return. I used those exact words -- I would not ever return if I had to pay that fee. He did not consult a manager, but decided on his own it was better for Camelback Lincoln to charge me and let a 50 year old with 30 more years of car buying ahead to walk out the door over $109 service. I do not believe it was unreasonable to expect not-moldy-smelling AC during the first two months of owning a new Lincoln, nor do I believe it is unreasonable to expect deodorizing to be complimentary when the foul smell starts so soon after taking delivery. There are other Lincoln dealers in the Valley, and they offer much better service after the sale than this one. More

Excellent experience all around! Started the buying process through USAA, as they offer a discount. When I hit that button, I was innundated by calls, voicemails, emails and texts from 7 dealerships! It was very overwhelming. Eric Steffes at Camelback sent me one email and one text the next day. When I explained that I was just gathering info and was being hounded by all these dealerships, he was very understanding. He sympathized, and then told me exactly what he had that met my specifications. No upsell, no pressue, just "here is what I have and this is the price." Considering most dealership won't give you exact pricing without you coming in to the dealership, I was impressed - and relieved. I liked the vehicle, texted with him with a few questions about the vehicle and set up a test drive. When I arrived fo rhte test drive, both Eric and the vehicle were ready and waiting for me. He answered all my questions, and I decided to purchase the car. I had to go back to work, so I filled out the credit app, they valued my trade inand I went back to work. I was in and out in 35 inutes. I returned to the dealership after work, and once again, everything was ready to go. The vehicle was ready, and the paperwork just needed to be signed. Blake, the F & I manager was great. We went through the paperwork for the vehicle purchase, my trade in and everything. When we go to the extended warranty part - Blake did exactly what any good salesperson does - he did his best pitch. He answered my questions, and pressed the issue. When I declined, he pressed again, but respectfully. I declined again, and he did some finagaling along with the sales manager and GM of the dealershp to get me the warranty at a price I could live with. I honestly feel that I got a great deal on the vehicle AND the warranty. Delivery was a breeze, and Eric even helped me move stuff from my trade in to the new vehicle. All in all, I would definately recommend Camelback Ford to purcahse a vehicle. They were 100% professional, and respectful of my time and budget! More
Travel Nurses needed a family towing truck I popped in to camelback ford dealership just to get an idea how much a new family truck would cost. Eric had contacted us after we inquired on USAA. I found Eric at the dealership and within an hour we had completed a test drive and a list of must-have‘s for a new truck. We also went back and forth in email figuring out towing capacity so we could shop for a travel trailer as well. The test drive truck had the ultimate tow camera package, which immediately became a must have. By that same evening, Eric had found a 2018 F250 lariat at a dealership in Tucson that fit all of our criteria. The next day, we signed paperwork to get the truck from the other dealership. Finally, the day had come. The 3rd evening, we took the whole family to the dealership to pick up our new truck. It was beautiful. Eric had found us a gorgeous Ruby Red 2018 F250 Lariat, crew cab with a long bed. Paperwork was signed and finally, we took possession of our new family vehicle. The whole point of this venture, is to have a family vehicle that will tow a travel trailer that will become our home for the next 2-3 years as we find travel nurse assignments all over the U.S. We are heading to New Hampshire first. Eric loves this and we talked about our crazy family adventure a lot. He was more than a salesman, and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of through every step. Every question was answered or researched. We couldn’t have been happier or more comfortable making such an important purchase. Thank you, Eric!! More

Fast forward a year we went back to see him so that he may help us get a truck and this time he was able to find the truck that met our needs & our budget.
