Camelback Ford responded

Here is the communication we received from this customer: "I was quoted on a 2010 Hyundai Elantra for 72mo lease at 180/month. If your focus is actually 11k a 72mo lease should be around 185/mo after taxes. If that is what you can offer me, I will take it. If not, it was nice talking to you. My credit is 750 so it should be of no concern. I live very far so I do not want to come in without a price settled upon." The repeated and frequent use of the word LEASE, and all communications contained the word, led us to believe that the customer was in fact interested in a LEASE. However, customer changed their vocabulary to Purchase after the initial lease agreement had been signed. This was deemed as confusing and disconcerting by our finance staff. Upon leaving, the customer then verbally abused my staff and was overheard by several customers. We are always willing to negotiate lease or purchase, but we do hope that our customers are upfront. If there is confusion in terminology, don't hesitate to ask! Our goal is to help educate on the car buying process as well as provide a great vehicle at an affordable price. We describe the entire buying process on our website: http://www.camelbackford.com/buying-a-vehicle.htm
