She picked out the car she wanted and with it being the Holiday sales event the deal took longer than expected so I was considering what I wanted to do in front of the sales person, MJ. The MJ asked me if Holiday sales event the deal took longer than expected so I was considering what I wanted to do in front of the sales person, MJ. The MJ asked me if I would consider a Kia Optima and I hated to go sit at another dealership for 4 hours so I agreed to try an Optima. I liked the car and we proceeded to see if the numbers would work. After the first round of negotiations the sales person came back and showed me the numbers. The numbers were not too close so the sales person said he needed to get me more for the trade in. At this point MJ asked me, “How is the car?”. He didn’t look at me he when he asked he was focused on the paper with the numbers. I replied to him, “It has some oxidation worse than the first car I brought him and a small oil leak, but other than that I consider it good.”. MJ just flicked his hand at me like those things did not matter, but I really felt like he was not even listening to me. We went back and forth a little bit more and we came to an agreement…or so I thought. It was quite an ordeal to get the car, but 2 days later MJ and another person George brought me a car and took my trade-in. It ended up being more of a car than I had first agreed on (It had uvo and back up camera), but MJ said, “We just made the numbers come out the same anyway.” MJ and George came back to my house the next day because they forgot to get a temporary license plate and never mentioned anything about my trade-in. About 10 days later I received a call from the Frank Ruiz at the dealership, he told me I had to come down there, and to put more money down. They had decided that my car was worth less than they had originally appraised it for. Remember 2 sales people came to my house originally and they came back to my house the next day. The sales reps said nothing about the trade in either time. I told them that I did not have any more money to put down, but I drove down there to understand what was going on. I told them I did not have any more money. They said that the car was badly damaged and it needed a paint job. I explained that I told the sales person that the car was oxidized, had an oil leak, and he did not seem to care. As far as the other damage I am not sure what they were referring too as I am not a car person. The car (to me) runs fine and still does. The worse person I had to deal with was Darlene Pizano. She was condescending to me when I told her I was not aware of any damage. She kept asking me if I was saying that the dealership did the damage. One other statement was, “OH so you don’t drive the car.” I finally had to ask why she was talking to me like the way she was and that I was not saying anything other than I didn’t know what damage they were talking about whether it was at the dealership or at my house. Still to this day they will not even tell me what damage they are talking about. I am wondering if they damaged something and they are putting it on me now. Finally, the GM Robert Revere came into the office and said,” We are going to take the car back and give you your car. Your car is out front.” Being naïve and not knowing the legalities of everything I felt I had to agree because I did not have any more money. As I was driving home I felt like something was not right. We have a signed contract that they would give me a new car and they would take my car as a trade in. When I left they did not have me sign anything to the contrary. Then I thought well what if I wanted to return my wife’s car after 10 days would they take it back? Of course they would not take it back. They would tell me tough, right. What allows them to bully me into taking my car back? I told them to the best of my knowledge the status of the car and they agreed to the deal sight unseen. I am not an expert in cars, they are. That’s why they have appraisers. I was in their dealership for my wife and they made me an offer when I told them I had an appointment elsewhere. Now I am being told that because of the signed contract I am obligated to the new vehicle and that I do not own the car I tried to trade in because I signed it over to the dealership. I tried talking to the GM Robert again, but he just talked over me telling him I owe them more money. This really does not feel right and I am told that this could be fraud. At the very least this is not how to handle business. More

Bought my Kia here last year, didn't get my contract from fiancé agent, drove back next day, discovered they added in some security fee! Had them take it off. Didn't really think much about it, this yea from fiancé agent, drove back next day, discovered they added in some security fee! Had them take it off. Didn't really think much about it, this year my son asked me to cosigned on a loan for him , Camelback Kia had been sending me emails , calling my house and mailing me buy back offers ,to the point that it was getting annoying , but because one of these emails had an offer for 12,999 on a new Kia soul! I took him their , I asked for the out the door bottom line price. Sales man said 15,600 with Kia rebate and sons trade , that he said would be $500 but turned out to be $250. Told finance agent Justin I wanted a 4 year contract , he talked us into a warranty that covered everything for 2,000, dents, paint, oil changes , towing, rental, everything all for one low price , sign here, sign here , very! Very! Friendly, you would never suspect that he was changing the paper work around !! Our payment on this new amount was to be $318 on a 48 month contract with my sons trade and down payment , sign here!! AND AGAIN DID NOT RECEIVE MY CONTRACT PAPER, but some of the other papers I saw made me suspect that he was being charged for more than we bargained for! So I called the very next day talked to Darlene in finance and was assured that that was not the case and it truly was all included in one price, but they had to break it down like that because of the financing and if I looked at my contract ( the one I didn't receive ) I would be Able to see it , so I requested a copy of the contract and told her that we never got our copy! Went to a car payment calculator , and at 48 months everything LOOKED OK!! But one month latter and still no copy of the contract, after two more requests and promises to get that over to me right away, I get a letter from Kia stating our pay off amount , and the term of the financing ! JUSTIN HAD CHANGE IT FROM 48 months to 60 months , so the increased amount would go unnoticed in our payment! After receiving this I called to talk to a manager and was told none was available , And I would need to talk to Justin! Long story short until I told a young lady buying a car to read everything very carefully , and not to sign anything unless she read it very carefully, and make sure she got her contract, then a manager came over and pulled out the contract and very condescendingly said did you sign this, is this your signature ,over and over again! Then asked me to wait in a private office, away from the sales floor, the young lady was so put off by the way he was treating me that her and her mother left, then a man ask to talk to me about what happen and another manager ( who looked more like a bouncer ) spoke very aggressively to me , told me I needed to leave NOW, and my business their was done, I told him I was having all the warranties takin off, and had to wait for my son to sign off on it, he demanded I go in one of the offices, shut the door and again said repeatedly did you sign this , is this your signature , in the same condescending tone as the other manager! When I ask to see the tapes that they record in finance , to show him the lies Justin had said, he refused ! I WOULDN'T SEND MY WORST ENEMY HERE , THE WORST CAR DEALER THAT I'VE EVER DELT WITH , AND I WILL POST ON EVERY SITE , SO THAT NO ONE WILL EVER HAVE TO GO THROUGH WHAT I DID! And if you see any 5 star ratings for Camelback Kia , you should know that the dealers are writing them, they read just like an advertisement ! My niece works in an office and any time someone post a bad review , the whole office is told to write a lot of good ones to counteract any of the bad ones! More

Fraud or Total Incompetence-Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recommend this dealer? No Purchased a vehicle from this deale -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recommend this dealer? No Purchased a vehicle from this dealer? Yes Problem: I purchased a 2011 Certified Pre-owned Kia Sorento from Nick Mayer Kia (purchased by Camelback Kia), but the $1,849.00 ten year Manufacturer Wrap warranty policy I purchased via $185.00 down payment wasn't initiated by the dealership. If you value integrity and customer service-I can only suggest you seek to do business with a reputable dealer! I tried from the date of my vehicle purchase in mid September to obtain the specific coverage and exclusions of the extended warranty policy offered by the dealership. My complaint to Kia Consumer Assistance finally resulted in my referral to a meeting with Joel Thomas, Sales Manager on November 29, 2012. He apologized profusely for the complete lack of communication and customer service I’d experienced. He instructed Eric in Finance to immediately complete my contract to purchase the Manufacturer Wrap policy, after which I waited in vain to receive a coupon payment book or to be advised of the specifics of the payment process. No paperwork was forthcoming and I then met with Shon Reynolds, Service Manager on December 28, 2012 at which time he personally completed a new policy contract and accepted my down payment of $185.00. He indicated nothing happened following the initial policy purchase paperwork because the dealership did not have the remainder of the required forms and emphatically stated that they dropped the ball. Then I waited to review my credit card statement because the monthly payments were specified to be charged to my American Express effective in January 2013. When the deduction for the monthly payment was not reflected, I immediately contacted Shon again. He was advised that the policy was cancelled and the down payment refunded to the dealership– But obviously I neither cancelled it, nor was advised of the cancellation nor was the down payment refunded to me! Shon said he had exhausted all resources to try to help me (in light of the interim dealership transition to Camelback Kia). I referred the case to Channel 12 Call 12 For Action for assistance with my unsuccessful attempts at problem resolution. They contacted Gabe, dealership Finance Director on repeated occasions with his promise to contact me, but he made no attempt to ever contact me. I contacted two different business consultants representing Nick Mayer Lincoln Mercury dealership in Cleveland, OH, who were charged with responsibility for resolution of any issues related to transition of the dealership to Camelback Kia. Both promised on more than one occasion to contact the Camelback Kia Finance Department to initiate the Manufacturer Wrap warranty policy I contracted for (reported by one of the reps to be "an easy fix"). However, despite my text and voicemail messages, they repeatedly failed to keep their promise to call me back . I am uncertain if I am a victim of outright fraud or total dealership incompetence or both, but six months following the initiation of the original warranty policy contract I neither have a policy or the refund of my $185.00 down payment or the courtesy of a return call from this dealership in an attempt to rectify this incomprehensible injustice. Again if you value integrity and customer service-I can only suggest you seek to do business with a reputable dealer. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dealership Experience How quickly did the dealer respond to your email inquiries? All the people I worked with were very friendly. The reason I gave the "Quality of work" an OK was because I had to come in and get another car. I bought the first car, and 2008 Kia Spectra, at the end reason I gave the "Quality of work" an OK was because I had to come in and get another car. I bought the first car, and 2008 Kia Spectra, at the end of March. After waiting ~55 days and not receiving my license plate, I called the AZMVD and they said they had not received the paperwork from the dealership. So, I went to the dealership and after some research they told me that my car, which I had been driving for nearly two months, would never pass emissions so I had to give them the car back and get another one. They worked with me and I am now in a better car at a good price, so I am happy overall but that was disappointing. More

I bought a brand new car here just under a year ago when they were still Nick Mayer. Now that Camelback Kia has bought them out I am FLOODED with sales calls about upgrading my car. It's not even a year old they were still Nick Mayer. Now that Camelback Kia has bought them out I am FLOODED with sales calls about upgrading my car. It's not even a year old yet!!!!!!!!! I've asked repeatedly to be removed from their mailing and call list and still they continue. 2-3 calls PER DAY. I would never do business with such a shady operation and am now filing a complaint with the FCC. More

They service & treatment I received was so unprofessional and borderline harassment that I thought about filing charg Ave and Camelback 3 years ago. They service & treatment I received was so unprofessional and borderline harassment that I thought about filing charges against them. Now they WILL NOT STOP CALLING ME to try to sell me another car, sometimes 6 calls in one week! I understand they use previous customers to drum up more business. I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THIS DEALSHIP AGAIN!! I have had 8 people since then that I have made sure did not buy from that dealership. I have called them FOUR TIMES and asked them not to contact me again! I now have other people calling to help me. I am contacting my attorney tomorrow to start harassment charges.
